typhus 13 Posted June 18, 2016 Carey is horrible. I would rather take Jordan Howard I'm just giving my take from my perspective. As I stated, Dynasty format, and we have already had our rookie draft,, Jordan Howard is not available, but Carey is in the mix,, I can take the gamble. The thread title is Players being overlooked.....
ralphster 274 Posted June 18, 2016 Eddie Royal, Chris Givens and Jeff Janis are fringe type players that could have an impact if things fall their way.
LunaTick 30 Posted June 18, 2016 Bridgewater overlooked How do you see those receiving yards broken up amongst the backs, TEs, and receivers? RB - 3 TD. Split evenly #McKinnon - 1 TD Peterson - 1 TD (broken play 20+ yds) Line - 1 TD (goal line) TE - 6 TD Ellinson - 1 TD (goal line as an outlet) #Rudolph - 4-6 TD (mainly inside the 20) WR - 16 TD #Diggs - 8-10 TD (Yards after catch scores) #Treadwell - 6-8 TD (possession TD, mainly inside the 20) Wright/ Johnson/Thielen/Patterson - 2TD amongst (#3WR needs to emerge, Patterson may not make squad) To get in the mid 30's, 10 more TDs have to emerge. TE's score 2 more (Rudolph) WR score 4-5 more (hopefully a #3 emerges, likely Wright or Thielen) RB score 2-3 more (McKinnon)

I don't say that because they aren't talented, but because most haven't hit their production levels yet.
bonkbonk 5 Posted June 18, 2016 Robert Woods is better then you think. Nothing but explosive and positive camp news. Free Agent next year. He's 24. This kid has lean.

I don't say that because they aren't talented, but because most haven't hit their production levels yet. I went back to my first post. Bridgewaters at 3600 = 225 yds / game. (fans/fantasy like it better when this is a 300 yds / game or 4800) Vikings are coming from a RB focus style game towards a passing. Coupled with a defensive focus. Which should mean short fields. Both of these reduces the potential for 300 yard game. #players will be those that get the most receptions and yards, imo. McKinnon if 48 rec at 8 yds avg = 400 yds. or 25 yds per game 3 receptions (double the targets of last season) Peterson 32 rec at 7.5 yds = 240 yds or 15 yds per game 2 receptions (petersons avg targets/reception, has double this in the past) Rudolph 50 rec 500 yds or 30 yds per game 3 receptions Diggs 75 rec at 14 yds =1000 or 65 yds 5 receptions Treadwell 60 rec at 10 yds = 38 yds or 4 reception 50 yards per game by others Not sexy at all. This assume marginal improvement from last season. Diggs looks to be 75 yds 5 reception 0.75 td per game Treadwell looks to be 50 yds 4 reception 0.5 td per game Rudolph looks to be 50 yds 3 reception 0.375 td per game Lets hope for sexier passing numbers this year. = Offensive Line improvement/Solidification Which means Bridgewater can do - 310 receptions 36 tds 4400 yds <--- (added to post) Top 10 numbers. wet dreams. All this stated, Bridgewater is a backup QB in most leagues. WRs would be a #2 or 3.

remote controller 143 Posted June 19, 2016 That little guy across the field from Jordy. Randall Cobb Chris Ivory in an up tempo Jags offense. Many don't realize he caught 30 passes for 217 yards last season.

SpenceToons 70 Posted June 19, 2016 Understandably overlooked given his ongoing struggles with his knee, Charles Clay does have an interesting reason to project a potential increase in production. From the Bills Preview on Roto: "Vic Carucci of the Buffalo News did report in May that the Bills hope to funnel Clay more targets this year after "coaches saw numerous instances where Clay was open or in single coverage and Taylor didn't look in his direction" in weekly film sessions." Tyrod Taylor himself has expressed that he feels more in command of things this offseason and local observers have felt he's taken a step forward. He might well follow through on a point of emphasis to get Clay more involved in the offense.

Unfortunately he definitely has a Jordan Reed bill of health
Ray_T 753 Posted June 19, 2016 Clay has close to Jordan Reed upside IMHO. Unfortunately he definitely has a Jordan Reed bill of health I felt Clay was underutilized and as a result under performed. if they start to use him more, it certainly looks good for his numbers. but teams will say stuff like this in the offseason and then when the regular season the odds are about 50-50 that the talked about change actually comes to pass. I like Clay. but I am not 100% convinced that changes will happen here. only time will tell. hes a player to watch for sure.
Frozenbeernuts 2,263 Posted June 19, 2016 I still want to see that Tyrod can dissect a defense before I trust him to make multiple players fantasy relevant. He played better than I could have ever imagined, but I still think he isn't capable of breaking down a defense during a play consistently.
weepaws 3,191 Posted June 23, 2016 D Washington of the Raiders , he is going to take a lot of work away from L Murray.
ralphster 274 Posted June 23, 2016 Because one blurb on roto in mid June said so?
lesjroza 70 Posted June 23, 2016 No, because he's a better football player in many facets of the game than Murray..........that said he's a rookie so its very possible Murray has one more chance early season to solidify a workhorse load.
Flgatorguy87 160 Posted June 23, 2016 Last season they lobbed a softball "workhorse RB" pitch to L MURRAY only to see him hit a single. I was disappointed with Murray last year. He felt very much like a volume only RB. I was high on him as well, and owned him in several leagues. I think he gets another chance this year but I expect that he will start losing work if he doesn't improve.
weepaws 3,191 Posted June 23, 2016 Because one blurb on roto in mid June said so? No, because OC Bill Musgrave said so , he said he will be good in first down second down and third down .

tanatastic 2,062 Posted June 23, 2016 The Artis formerly known as Payne. Think JStew can repeat last years bulldozer impersonation?
giraldi02 474 Posted June 23, 2016 Coaches never would lie about performance prior to the pads getting on. Gregg Rosenthal's article from 2012 still carries the same weight now as it did then. Never believe ANYTHING from OTA's and minicamps. Particularly, when you hear about how great a player looks or how he'll fit into the scheme. August 2013 The Buffalo Bills plan to give carries this season to running back C.J. Spiller "until he throws up," offensive coordinator Nathaniel Hackett said during a radio interview Wednesday morning. May 2015 after OTAs discussing WR Stephen Hill “We know he’s got the great speed and size and willingness to go out and do it, and today was a really good day for him,” Ron Rivera said. Kent 228 Posted June 27, 2016 I'm targeting Michael Crabtree in all leagues this year.
weepaws 3,191 Posted June 27, 2016 Cooper ADP 12 , Crabtree ADP 32 . And in ppr Crabtree avg a little bit more per game last season . Crabtree is the better value.
