If you're going to make it free tuition it has to be free for everyone - just like compulsory public education. I think the flaw in posts like the one above is that by far, not everyone who is embarrassed and/or repulsed by the idea of a Trump presidency is a "libtard". May be a fair moniker for Hillary voters who would vote for her regardless of the opposition, but the fact that so many conservatives - including presidential candidates - have abandoned him - I mean, I'm pretty sure you wouldn't call the Koch brothers or the Bush Klan "libruhls". Bill Kristol, et al certainly aren't. Reminds me quite a bit - to a higher extent - of the number of promnent Republicans who couldn't in good conscience vote a ticket with Palin on it 8 years ago. I can not foresee a time in our near future that our economy will boom to a level where tax revenues will increase enough to pay for it. And it's so far gone now that spending reductions just won't nearly be enough. We are way past that point. Here's something: Our foreign aid is now just 1% of our spending every year. Even if we wiped that out completely, it wouldn't have much impact. Some day they are going to have to face this, for real. 1 Quote
