In the end they only dealt Matt Moore and he remains exclusive. Full time starter spot for Blake Snell in the process and Andriese adds another starting arm for me until Cobb returns Hellickson stayed in philly and stayed exclusive The one trade that hurt was the earlier deal that sent Melvin Upton to Toronto. Not so much for future drafts adding the Jays to the mix but more so for this season because I think he had something special going there in San Diego, found his swing (relatively) again thus staying in the lineup and showing off his speed again. Sure, he goes to a contender, but will end up getting more days off and I have a feeling the change of scenery won't be good. I think he reverts back to bad BJ Upton. Nunez going to San Fran is a wash. He'll be as good there as he was in minny, maybe a little better. I have no future rights to him either way Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
Mookz 1,346 Posted August 3, 2016 I would say that just about every trade that affected my team hurt it to varying degrees. The two biggest were the ones that I was whining about in the supplemental thread. Pomeranz is apparently going to suck the rest of the way (maybe he would have anyway), and obviously I drafted Betances for holds, although all his other stats should still be very good. I already had Pearce, and he was traded to the O's - the one place (fantasy wise) that hurts me. The O's acquired Wade Miley, bumping one of my starter slots, as I had the entire O's rotation (although that Miranda guy is going to get a shot in Seattle. Maybe he'll take the league by storm.). Feldman (who I just nabbed) to the Blue Jays - meh, he was doing well in Houston, but I guess we'll see. I didn't like Bruce leaving Cincinnati - less protection for Votto. Guess that's about it.
