its actually tax cuts for all, and taking people off food stamps that take advantage of them but good try

Despite the headline all your article says is that the budget is reducing funding for SNAP by $150 billion. I guess cutting taxes for the rich is more important than feeding the poors.

As it turned out, the president’s claim — that he has signed more bills (42) at this point than “any president ever” — was completely wrong. Just among recent presidents, he’s behind Jimmy Carter (70 bills signed), George H.W. Bush (55) and Bill Clinton (50).

So it goes with Trump, the most fact-challenged politician that The Fact Checker has ever encountered

So at the six-month mark, the president’s tally stands at 836 false or misleading claims. That’s an average of 4.6 claims a day, not far off his first 100-day pace.

I have a job, a house and two cars and pay upwards of a quarter of my total income in taxes. I'd rather that $ go to people who need assistance than some Wall Street exec's annual bonus, even knowing these social programs will always have a % of grift.

Trump shows his true colors again and again.

Trump also has a disturbing habit of taking credit for events or business decisions that happened before he took the oath of office — or had even been elected. Some 30 times, he’s touted that he secured business investments and job announcements that had been previously announced and could easily be found with a Google search. Nearly 20 times he’s boasted that he achieved a reduction in the cost of Lockheed Martin F-35 Joint Strike Fighters, even though the price cut had been in the works before he was elected.

Ten times, Trump has said he has proposed “the biggest tax cut in the history of our country,” even though his administration has released no plan beyond a single sheet of paper. Even if it became a reality (there are reports that the tax plan is being scaled back), it still would be smaller than tax cuts passed by Harry Truman and Ronald Reagan. Eight times, he has claimed to have already achieved “record investments” in the military even though his proposed defense increase is relatively modest — and not yet been approved by Congress.

We don't have any mountains in CO. Cross country skiing is popular though.

The White House announced Thursday that President Trump is taking executive action on health care as Congress stalls on efforts to overhaul ObamaCare, calling for a plan that could let employers band together and offer coverage across state lines.

An executive order Trump plans to sign Thursday morning aims to offer “alternatives” to ObamaCare plans and increase competition to bring down costs.

When premiums go up again next year regardless what's the excuse?

Hm.

I don't like abuses of power, but the problem appears to be that the infiltrated GOP (leadership) has already done that. So much of Government has already done that.

I'm not entirely sure if what this EO actually contains is a reversal of rules and laws imposed by a rogue Congress - I believe ACA was already unConstitutional - or if this actually imposes a new law instead of a reversal of existing unConstitutional law.

Either way, I file this under 'break a few eggs to make an omelette'. I believe we're already at war. This is a near nuclear option override of Congressional responsibility, and Trump acting 'kinglike' in order to maintain order.

Similar to Martial Law. What, after all, is a coup? I do not equate an imposition of rules that increases the freedom of the individual - as this does - with EOs or other unilateral proclamations that do the opposite (as Bernie Sander's proposal would have done: make seeking care outside of "Medicare (actually Medicaid)) for all" actually illegal.

They are not the same. Hard to call Trump's action 'tyrannical' when the result is more freedom; not less.

Why? The SCOTUS ruled it constitutional. Does it just feel unconstitutional to you?

No, the SCOTUS literally changed the wording of the bill to try to justify ruling it constitutional. It was a clear constitutional violation in and of itself but, unfortunately, there is no one to appeal to above the SCOTUS. It was another indication that our entire system of government is slowly unraveling. The judicial branch is supposed to stay unbiased but politics clearly came in to play here.

I trust the SCOTUS's opinion on the constitutionality of the ACA over you and Reality.

Just cause it made you guys sad and mad doesn't mean it was unconstitutional.

Our current President wants to shut down networks that report negatively about him. Probably not a real good choice for the right to be mentioning the constitution.

Premiums will go up next year because the insurance companies have already set their rates for next year. 2019 will be the test year.

Try to keep up are dont comment on things you know nothing about.

Exchange rates in my state went up 115% this year. That can be our bench mark. Obama promised these people they would save $2700 a year.

Roberts suspended disbelief by calling it a 'tax'. Only those who wanted ACA to begin with yuck it up and declare that an acceptable abuse of logic.

Do you believe that the SCOTUS is infallible?

Well, I am glad you were at least educated on this topic. It is very apparent that you weren't before opening your mouth.

Now, if only he can get the North Koreans to pay for his tenfold increase in nuclear weapons. Jesus, even his entire staff is trying to figure out how to tackle this guy to keep him away from the football.

Remember when all the leaks were Obama holdovers? When you are in the most secure location with the most secure individuals talking about the most top secret shed and you still have three of the attendees leaking that you want a tenfold increase in nuclear weapons? Yeah that's not Obama holdovers.

And for those of you playing the home game, as a result of that meeting, that's where his secretary of state called him a f****** moron.
