Either way, I file this under 'break a few eggs to make an omelette'. I believe we're already at war. This is a near nuclear option override of Congressional responsibility, and Trump acting 'kinglike' in order to maintain order. Similar to Martial Law. What, after all, is a coup? I do not equate an imposition of rules that increases the freedom of the individual - as this does - with EOs or other unilateral proclamations that do the opposite (as Bernie Sander's proposal would have done: make seeking care outside of "Medicare (actually Medicaid)) for all" actually illegal. No, the SCOTUS literally changed the wording of the bill to try to justify ruling it constitutional. It was a clear constitutional violation in and of itself but, unfortunately, there is no one to appeal to above the SCOTUS. It was another indication that our entire system of government is slowly unraveling. The judicial branch is supposed to stay unbiased but politics clearly came in to play here.
