David Johnson. The stalwart that lead me to a 2nd place finish last year. He is the best rb in the league without question in my book. I would never even consider another rb over him in real life or fantasy this year.

I'll take Bell at 1.02 no problem. We'll only know at the end of the year if Bell or Johnson was the #1 pick, but either one could be included.

Considered one of the top Wr's here with Zeke's pending discipline, but decided to stay the course. He is a special talent and has help at Qb and Wr to loosen things up, not to mention and stout front line.

I love it that RB's have returned to the top picks, for a number of years now their presence up at the top was maybe one guy, but often it was a WR-dominated stretch. Its fun to see the RB position regaining some of its past prowess.

Really no surprises here and no arguments. Seem to be the consensus top 3 for everyone.

Pick 5 overall, I found two players of equal value ( in my eyes) at this spot, and a third that was "interesting". On balance I went with what I thought was the higher powered offense, with higher reliability and I also think Jones represents a certain level of reliability, though injuries do concern me with him.

The pick I was expecting to make when I found out I had the fourth. Although, I was holding out slim hope that Zeke would slip. Can't complain about getting the best WR ( and consensus number one pick last year).

 

However, last year he took me to a #10 finish so I hold some reservations. It was absolutely him and not the rest of my draft that caused that.

I have to wonder how having Bell the entire season will help, but also can some of the other WR's make a bigger impact, which might open things up for him; and they need the TE position to be more consistent too.

My biggest concern with the Steelers is Big Ben. I don't expect him to finish the season and wouldn't be surprised if he's done after this year. He seems ready to hang it up and I have a slight worry that he could negatively affect Bell and AB some. Nothing drastic though.

That's alright, since you are from Iowa you will be given a lot of slack. Us Minnesotans have lived with Iowa folks all our lives and we understand them better than they do themselves.

That's true but his overall production was down. AB scored 30 fewer points than the year before and 40 fewer than the year before that. Luckily all the other WRs had some regression as well. I'm not sure if it due to Ben or not.

I was trying to figure out why everyone was giving me crap when I didn't think I did anything wrong. I was in this thread, read a post, then scrolled to the bottom to post my own reply. Apparently it got posted to the picks thread so I'm not sure what happened. Wouldn't make any sense for me to post it in the picks thread since there wasn't a comment in there to reply to. Seems like a site error or my computer.

 

I'm just glad someone finally told me what happened because I was getting confused and a little frustrated why people were giving me crap. Makes sense now.

Please don't let that happen. If you know you're going to be away from the board for awhile, please email a list of players to choose from.
