It appears that a platform of violence and lies is not working

Recommended Posts

The Democratic National Committee just posted its worst July fundraising numbers in a decade, raising questions about why the party machine cannot capitalize on President Trumps low approval ratings and whether new Chairman Tom Perez is up to the task.

The DNC raised $3.8 million last month, compared to $10.2 million for the Republican National Committee. The tally fit a pattern for the Democrats, who have posted a string of depressed fundraising numbers month after month this year, even after new party boss Perez took charge in February.

Does anyone know what their platform is?

One is the rich person's party and the other is the common working man. Why is this surprising?

Everyone is saying Trump's approval rating is so low (which is debatable considering the source) but there is some truth even in most lies. What if 35-40 percent is the new "normal" simply because of how divided the country is right now. But anyways, back to my point, everyone says his approval rating is extremely low, I would LOVE to see what a DNC candidates approval rating would be right now if they had one. What could it be? 20 maybe 30 percent tops?

Good point. As low as Trumps approval # is, every poll I've seen since the election still has him beating Hillary.

Maybe screaming Russia and Nazi isn't as compelling an argument as they think. :o

Pssst. It's every source. Gallop. Rasmussen. Besides possibly a Fox News or Brietbart poll, he is doing historically bad in every single poll.

They have "A Better Deal" They had a big rollout of it a few months back with Chuck Shumer and Nancy Pelosi and the usual suspects showing up to promote it.

I wish I could tell you more but sadly, I'll have to let you down. I saw the headline and the accompanying photo a couple of months ago but didn't actually bother opening the link to read about it. I'd hoped somebody else might do that for me, but nobody bothered making a thread and I just forgot about it until now.

Both parties are bad, hopefully one of two parties takes up fiscal responsibility before it is too late.

Furthermore if I was rich enough to donate I would not give to a party, I would give it directly to politicians on both sides. I think this would be a better strategy.

If they just banned political donations and made it treason (thats exactly what it is) corruption would be cut in half overnight.

I think the climate is finally in the right place to support a 3rd party candidate.

Most people despise Trump, and most/many people are weary of a DNC platform that wavers and has no clear path.

A fiscally conservative, socially liberal moderate candidate that could trade barbs with Trump could take hold and run away with it.

We are quickly becoming a 1.5 party system. The DNC needs to develop a platform quickly or they could be out of business by 2020.

And that is just part of the platform of lies!

Hillary spend more than twice the money Trump did last election.

When you are the party of the poor it is to your advantage to keep the voting public poor.

If the democrats were still the party of the common working man, Hillary would have won. Now they are the party 70+ genders and safe spaces.

I will acknowledge this. You have said this many times over the last year and twice in this thread and I am starting to feel bad for you.

You can work on your next sound bite now, I suggest:

The American people will never knowingly adopt Socialism. But, under the name of liberalism, they will adopt every fragment of the Socialist program, until one day America will be a socialist nation, without knowing how it happened.

- U.S. Socialist Party

That is a good one!

The truth hurts doesn't it? I guess that is why the Left avoids the truth.

Take any source you want. Even the most right leaning polls (that you still dont understand the statistics behind)...his numbers are all at record lows.

Lies? Those are what come out of the OP and out of Trump.

There is no candidate right now...but you think they would be lower than what has been an all time low for a president?

Not surprising: Voters are waking up to the fact that we essentially have one party that's in the hip pocket of Wall Street and the military industrial complex, and against workers, consumers and the American public. This hurts the Democratic party more since the Dems at least pretended to be different than the GOP at one time. Republicans make no bones about being slaves to their corporate overlords.

As long as they keep giving me candidates as bad as Hillary and Trump, I'll keep voting third party. You'd be an idiot not to. :dunno:

One is the rich person's party and the other is the common working man. Why is this surprising?

Income Inequality Worse Under Obama Than George W. Bush

President Obama may talk a big game about economic fairness, but his record on the issue doesn’t quite match up.

.

Suez, who’s known for his work on the income gap, has highlighted a surprising and discouraging fact: during the post-recession period of 2009 and 2010, the rich snagged a greater share of total income growth than they did during the boom years of 2002 to 2007.

In other words, inequality has been even more pronounced under Obama than it was under George W. Bush.

The real inconvenient truth. The investor class got him elected, it only stands to reason he hooked his boys up. It all started with Naming Holder as AG, straight out of a Wall Street office with orders not to indict anyone.

Had to rub my eyes a couple times. Can't believe the hacks at HuffPo actually posted that! I think the shift is beginning. Newbie, Sho if you go ahead and admit you were wrong now you won't look as stupid a few years from now. Just do it, it'll feel good. :)
