Sux (or any other car guys) - Remote start question

How hard is it to install a remote start system yourself on a 2017 Camry? I'm reading it's fairly simple unless the car has an immobilizer (which seems to be newer models). 1 - Do you know if my car has an immobilizer? 2 - If an average Joe (read: novice who can follow a youtube video) was to try to install a remote start with an immobilizer, would that average Joe fock it all up and end up with a higher cost repair than just having it installed in the first place?

Not certain on this, but I have heard that installing one of those may void portions of your warranty. Or that could just be an urban legend.
