The jokes are there and well written I think, but the delivery is so poor that they dont land....but I did half laugh while also shaking my head at the line: What a thrill it is to follow politics at a time when the headline PORNSTAR BLACKMAILS PRESIDENT is only like the 4th biggest political story of the week. Were the first three biggest ones dealing with FISA corruption, FBI/DOJ facing possible indictments, Hillary and aides looking at serious jail time? No...............wonder what the left considered the 3 biggest then. Quote

Stern passed because he said he is not about talking about affairs and Trump was a good guest at that time. He also said (and I agree) that Trump has never lied about who he is. If you voted for him as part of some family values play, then you are a chump. He is who he is and banging some porn star doesn't change that. If you don't like it, then get out and vote next election. Until then, this is nothing. Quote

If I worded my posts in such a way that you believe I credited Trump's victory to Fox burying this story, then I apologize. I don't even think the Trump vs Clinton election result is even topical at this point. My thoughts are on top media outlets having a major story that could (assuming it was sourced and believed to have happened), but deciding to bury it. I've come to accept that there will be spin and slants and bias, but hiding a potential controversy seems different and unsettling from a precedent setting perspective. It's not a right or left issue I'm discussing, although I know it'll be hard for anyone to discuss it as anything other than that. Quote
