Right. If a team is trying to trade you a lineman and it's not some personal issue, that lineman is usually damaged in some way.

yeah, but those players cost significat dollars. and the Vikings are close to the max salary their cap allows. for this to work they would need to unload a high priced player who isnt performimg. on that note, how many teams want to take on a high priced player who isnt performing? none.

 

the only way to fill that position will be through the draft.
