birdiepop22 6 Posted December 20, 2018 Hello fellow fantasy footballers. Congrats to those who have made it to the big game! I need help setting my line up this week for a chance to be the back-to-back champ in my league 0.5 PPR STARTERS QB - Big Ben RB - Gurley (if he plays, trending in the right direction) RB - Chubb WR - Thielen (hard to sit him, even with the recent slump) WR - Jeffery (benched him last week, not this week!) TE - Gronk (need old Gronk to show up) Flex (RB/WR/TE) - Damien Williams K - Lutz DST - Pats BENCH QB - Baker Mayfield WR's - Dante Pettis, Kenny Stills RB's - Spencer Ware, Elijah McGuire TE's - Ian Thomas DST - Saints My biggest dilemma is at flex... If Ware plays, do I start Ware over Williams or vice versa? I don't trust hamstring injuries (see what happened to Fournette). Williams has had two strong showings so its hard to ignore his production. Is McGuire worth a shot? If Aaron Rodgers were to sit out, I would be more inclined to start McGuire but sounds like Rodgers will be on the field and that could mean they put the game away early and the Jets abandon the run game... What are your thoughts? Would you change anything in my line up? PLEASE HELP! I'll help with yours and good luck to all!

birdiepop22 6 Posted December 20, 2018 McGuire is in if both Ware and Williams play I think m Why him? do you think the Packers will get a comfortable lead early in the game, making the Jets abandon the run game?
weepaws 2,457 Posted December 20, 2018 If both Ware and Williams play I a RBBC, I would rather have the player with potential of touches. And that would be McGuire
GreatGray 2 Posted December 21, 2018 McGuire would be the play for me. The Packers are not good enough on either side of the ball at this point to worry about a blow-out scenario there.
bobjay00 22 Posted December 21, 2018 I agree with McGuire if Ware plays w/Williams. Even if the Pack jumps out with a lead McGuire would be perfect for swing passes and as a safety valve. Also, with a lead the pack would play "back" allowing McGuire to catch underneath. This might sound crazy but i also would consider Mayfield, he stomped the Bengals last meeting. IMO Good Luck Note: Williams was outplaying Ware when he was in there and DW was getting the goal line work.
