Djgb13 2,338 Posted January 29, 2019 Long story short, truck in front of us slammed on brakes and the tar he had in the container on the back of his truck sprayed up and onto my wifes car. Anyone know how to get it off? Regular wash wont do it

Djgb13 2,338 Posted January 29, 2019 Problem is its not in one little spot. Its sprayed all over the front. Looks like we ran through a mud puddle. So it would require a lot of scrubbing
Fireballer 2,376 Posted January 29, 2019 I would try a clay bar first. Then rubbing alcohol. Anything with petroleum distilates will probably fuk up the paint. Shouldnt this paving co on the hook for fixing this? Even if this wasnt a legit collision, he still failed to maintain control of his load(ha,ha).

Frozenbeernuts 1,652 Posted January 29, 2019 Angle grinder with a tiger paw. Make sure you dig into the metal in case some of the tar seeped into the metal itself
