It's funny when nerds try to talk football using stats as a crutch. Shows you they have no clue or appreciation for the changes in the game. Anyone who saw both would never take Witten over Bavaro. It's not even close.

Given the direction of this team (or shall I say lack of direction) - why not, I'm okay with him coming back.

1.  We don't have a real, legit, dependable pass catching TE on roster.

2. Beasley will not be back. Witten instantly becomes this team's best 3rd down option.

3. Dallas no longer has to consider taking a TE with the 2nd round pick - that almost certainly will go to a DT now..........thank Gawd.

4. Even if Witten sucks, he can still rack up stats against the Giants.
