2019 Season Discussion

Recommended Posts

I’m boarding a flight in 2 hours. Not sure it would get to me by then or not but just be aware.  I will check in when I land in Atlanta and then Charlotte.

Plenty of infielders and outfielders available for trade.

What are you looking for in return?

I'd say give it until game time tomorrow (since only 1 game today) for Detroit and Houston to pick 2 players. I doubt Detroit will, seems like he took his ball and went home because he decided never to check our league forum

Dammit. I have been waiting all day to pick Jordan Yamamoto.  I had zero doubt he would slide down to me.

Is there a time frame where supplemental picks must be added?

For example where Houston picked a Rays pitcher... how long until he is fair game and I can re-snatch him up? He's starting tomorrow....

Looks like Cdub took his ball and went home.

Are we going to leave his team on auto pilot or try to find a replacement owner?

I really don't feel bad. If you join a league.... maybe check in once in a while and you'd know whats going on without needing your hand held

Neither do I. He was in the league for years back in the day AND he acknowledged the all star break supp during our original draft discussion. All that and we emailed him reminders to the address he has on the yahoo site.

I vote we leave it on auto-pilot unless we can get someone like posty to finish the season out.

More than half of my team is on the DL, lol. I've lost Mejia, Urshela, Encarnacion, Bruce, Diaz, Ramirez, Kluber, Carrasco, Woodruff, Hunter, Salazar, Sabathia, and Chisenhall.

Interesting to see if the 9/10 teams can make a run at the 7/8 seeds. The top 6 seem locked in

I definitely can’t top that but I’ve been without Glasnow, Snell, Chirinos, Alvarado, now Archer too. That hurts when you’re pitching thin and your team ALREADY uses openers all the time.

Congrats and good luck to all the playoff-makers.

My O's weren't nearly as bad as I thought they'd be this year.  I thought they'd struggle to win a single week, but they actually went 9-11-2.  Just had some very lopsided losses in there.

Looking forward to next year.

Has anyone gone from winning the league to completely missing the playoffs before me and my Braves this year??

Think I did but I'll have to check.  Feels like the year the O's won is the only time I've made the playoffs.  <_<

Down to the final four, and it's all chalk.

Indians vs. Dodgers
Red Sox vs. Cardinals

Should be some epic matchups.  :bandana:

I literally lost because I picked up and played Ryan Yarbrough. Didn't need to play another SP and it cost me in the L category and a flip of the ERA catrgory.

My 9-7 loss should have been 8-7 in favor of me.

I fully expect 6 injuries on the last day and I lose by 1 point.

Well now you've reverse-jinxed yourself right into a championship.  <_<

Whelp, f*ck me. Didn't have a chance to check lineups and missed that Jose was back. So of course, grand slam first AB.

And second AB three-run homer. Merry Christmas, lambert.

Congrats Lambert!  👏

Dominating victory.

Playoffs went according to seeding this year, even the third place game.

Thanks Zero.  It was a lot of fun again this year. I was fortunate to be able to run out 7-8 starters every week. Game me a lot of opportunity to win a lot of pitching stats this year.
