Donald Trump grounds Boeing 737 MAX

US President Donald Trump announced on Wednesday that the US will ground the Boeing 737 MAX jetliner, despite a previous assessment from US air regulators that the plane remained airworthy and there was no cause to take it out of service.
Trump said the FAA would speak about the issue later on Wednesday afternoon.
The move came less than three hours after Canada grounded the world’s third largest fleet of Boeing 737 MAX jetliners, or 41 planes operated by three Canadian carriers, and banned the aircraft from its airspace Wednesday.
That had left the United States increasingly isolated in its insistence that the 737 MAX was safe, in the wake of Sunday’s deadly crash of a 737 MAX in Ethiopia.

And the real story is

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) on Wednesday ordered two Boeing 737 Max jets — one model of which was involved in the fatal Ethiopian Airlines crash that killed 157 people — to be temporarily grounded in the U.S.
