And that she's looking for a man with character like me and that's why she's having trouble finding a man to date. There aren't many like me according to her friend. I do think if you've had a generally good mom or dad, you'd appreciate seeing some of those traits in your significant other. Maybe it's more of a dad/daughter thing than mom/son, I don't know. You guys are mostly guys, so for those of you who appreciate/d your mom, did you specifically appreciate seeing some of those traits in your gf/wife? There's aspects of my dad that would get a hearty if seeing it in a guy, and maybe a couple things that I would consciously prefer an alternative to (fairly innocuous stuff fortunately).
