Atsu Nable, a legal immigrant from Togo, was reportedly out enjoying the spring weather in Germantown, MD., when the suspects approached him and started harassing him about his MAGA hat.

According to a Montgomery County Police Department press release, Nable said he told them that he is entitled to his views and walked away.

But the suspects then began striking the victim and telling him to take the hat off. He told FOX5 he was "shocked" when one of the assailants hit him from behind.

It's a holder over from earlier times. During the civil war era Md was a slave state except for a small minority, therefore they were a Democrat state.  That Democrat toe-hold remains intact despite the departure by the Dems from all those things that held people to them. It's really fascinating.

MD describes itself as America in miniature. Certianly is politically. Bmore and the Eastern outskirts of DC are what you might imagine from city pop.

Montgomery is on life support and they won't admit it. Once a top county in the nation schools and wealth wise. All the career government pensioners are dying or leaving, which removes a huge tax base.  Sanctuary county schools are now there to feed and nurture immigrants.  Can't teach, resources are too low.  Once a top 5 school system, now not top 100. Crime way up, especially in Germantown. The truly rich are flocking to Bethesda, where 2500 sf houses on 6000 sf lots are hitting $2M because there is nowhere left to go. 

 

MD needs to go red to save itself, but the immigration influx has done it's job.

 

Mike Miller, the orchestrator of Blue MD, just died. His replacement will be even worse.  The State suckles at the teet of DC, without it, its a grand failure of the great social experiment.

I think it's the promise of lifetime benefits. But in reality, there is no lifetime benefits to what the left is proposing. They are proposing everyone suffers, instead of just some.

The turnover from Repub to Dem has its roots in the Roosevelt New Deal, the Dems have capitalized on this, but never really left their exploitative roots.

For one, you don’t see many black politicians running as Republicans. I think that’s criteria #1.
