"END OF MY PRESIDENCY. I'M F*****"

That was Trump on the appointment of Mueller. As usual, he was wrong. But it's good to know he had to sweat a little bit.

Why is it good that he was worried?

I think I might say the same thing:  #1 because it means that all the stuff i want to do will likely be hijacked and #2 because its a clear indication that they are willing to do anything

So you rejoice that an innocent man faced unwarranted persecution? Stunning since you rail against #metoo for that very reason.

Right now, his "sweat" laden balls are slapping against your party's chin.

2.5 years with the unlimited resources of the world's most thorough intelligence agencies and they came up empty handed.

Congratulations America, you elected the most honest man to ever run for office.

I'm really not going to play the games with the lonely boys. They literally responded at the same time within minutes. The president is far from innocent. The overarching conclusion here is that number one if he wasn't president it would be an entirely different prosecution. And number two that if his staff have done a third of the things that Trump wanted them to do, Trump would be up ship Creek. So he can thank his staff from keeping him from committing criminal actions.

lying to the press may not be a crime. Lying to the American people to cover your ass may not be a crime. But it's far from innocent.

Thing is, we know exactly how this was going to go when Rudy came out and said the exact same thing. Hey, it's not like he perjured himself! Yeah, because he refused to go in front of Congress or grand jury repeatedly.

Innocent people don't do that.

Anywho, enjoy your mutual circle jerk. You guys are quickly running out of anyone to play with. So I guess you can play with yourselves?

It seems as though the way Barr represented the report previously is somewhat different from what the report says.

I would not call the report a full exoneration.....

I12 political threads on page one alone. And how many we're started by the non trumptards? I love your little game now of garsh wiffle starts all these threads about Trump! And I've challenged you guys how many times 2 a post count? A thread count?

Just because you get butt hurt every time your orange Jesus says or does something stupid, you guys really need to come up with some new s***.

I was talking to yet another former poster over the weekend. Former poster for the same reason as everybody else. All the trolls get kicked out of FBG and just infested this place.

And it's like I asked you guys two  years ago, what's your end-game here? You want this to be the Fox News comment section? Because congratulations, you're pretty much there.I guess you guys can keep jerking each other off in your own little echo chamber if it makes you happy.

Yeah, that's the kind of stellar analysis we've come to expect from you. I bet you read one headline or more likely, heard one comment off of Fox News in came waddling over the table with your pants around your ankles just to post about it.

Read what you wrote above. Any kind of political analysis there? Any kind of proof of reading or context there? No. Then remind. Even if you can't read so good you know the Trump lied on Air Force One. You know he did. It's f****** videotaped. But, it's not a crime. I'm glad that's the new standard for the president.

There you go. At least an intelligent opinion. And remember that barr himself said in his summary not summary memo that this does not represent an exoneration of the president. He said that in writing. And how did Trump respond? "Fully exonerated"! 😀

But hey, you got to give it to the guy, he knows his audience.

The report is a political smear job based on a political smear job. Those who recognize that never expected the report to say "Trump is exonerated".

Barr knows the law, knows there was no predicate to investigate Trump and his summary indicates that (particularly on obstructionn).

I think there are elements of the report that would seem to suggest a few instances where one could make some reasonable claims toward obstruction, not criminal, but certainly unseemly.

Yeah, like I said, based upon what I've read, the testimony of his own staffers seems to indicate that they kept him from shooting himself in the foot. They just flat-out refuse to do some of the things that Trump ordered them to do. And even though he crapped all over them as they went out the door, he owes them a huge debt of gratitude for that.

I think Mueller and Barr did the right thing based on what we know right now.

Now, can congress take what they have and do anything with it?

So the guy that Trump personally selected, Rob rosenstein, chose Bob Meuller. And Trump was incredibly effusive at the time. not only Trump, but both sides of the aisle in both houses of Congress. And after the barr summary came out, Trump is quoted as saying that Meuller acted "extremely honorably" during this whole investigation.

So, you were saying...

Geesus  drowning in Kool-Aid. at least some on the bard are willing to say it was shady, but not criminal. I think you think your diick would fall off if you ever admitted that Trump was anything less than orange Jesus.

Nothing changes.

The entire investigation was based on a manufactured premise.

Barr knows this, has the proof.  There is no way you can charge obstruction of justice on an investigation that was unjust.

Heads are gonna roll and it's not on team trump.

Counterpoint: Rod appointed Mueller and Rod with Barr cleared Trump of Obstruction as well as agreeing with Mueller that no collusion was present.

So wiff, you trust Rod R. then you should trust him now clearing Trump 100%

Honestly, if meuller couldn't find a smoking gun, you know trumps just going to pardon all the underlings.

If nothing is going to come of it, I'd rather Congress spend their time on one thing that they can accomplish. Even if it's a little thing. But, I just don't see that happening with a split Senate. Maybe infrastructure? Sure as hell not healthcare.

ETA, once Congress breaks for the summer, it's all over. Everything after summer break will be all about the election.

Jesus. You're all over the map. In the same thread within the same couple of post, you say it's a political smear job, and you say it's completely reliable. Fawk. Out

I got a one day timeout for using TDS at Footballguys. The anti-Trump people insult Trump and his supporters all the time yet TDS is not allowed. It is truly a liberal echo chamber.

I am interested to see what they try to do with it.   Obviously they are going to mouth off about it, and have their propaganda arms blast it out loud, but my question is do they try an impeachment tact with it?

It's amazing watching the left try and spin this. They lost in 2016 and they keep on losing. They don't get it and are giving Trump a great chance to win in 2020. TDS is real and getting worse.

That is amazing. It truly is a liberal echo chamber and the snark and hate they have there for anyone disagreeing with them is so wrong.

The Deputy A.G. that got 90+ votes in Senate? The same guy who appointed Mueller?

An entire party built on contrarian spite. Hence all the contradictions they don’t care about. So what if A and B aren’t true? Both A and B are true in that they are opposing what the previous status quo held true.

It’s like all the knowledge discovered and developed by white people is wrong on principle of the source so it must be changed. It’s a philosophy designed to upend and destroy anything it touches.

Don't come at them with history, facts, etc. They are angry amd that anger must be sated.

And whatever you do, don't ask them what would make them happy. They don't know and it only pisses them off.
