porn question. kind of sad

It's a valid question to ask if more could be done, but his point is that technology exists to do what can be done.  Porn has existed since mankind.  Hell, druids probably carved it into trees, and cave people drew it.  We all pulled our pud to Playboy and Penthouse.  Then porn theaters (I've never actually been), then porn videos/DVDs, now porn on the internet.  Next I presume will be some sort of immersive experience, if it doesn't already exist.

Vudu I think mentioned grabbing a friend's phone who doesn't have restrictions.  Sure, but I had a fake ID so I could get alcohol.  There will always be ways to get vices, hence the failure of alcohol prohibition.

BTW the movie rating system is voluntarily done by the industry to keep the government OUT of the movie rating business.

If you feel strongly about it, have a talk with them.  To me however this falls under the category of:  establish with your kids that they can approach you with questions.  So when they ask why there are videos about step-families having sex, you can explain fetishes and how freaks like Vudu enable that market, and advise them to stick with massage parlor vids.

Babysitter I get -- we hire a smoking hot young thing, and wife and I lure her into a 3some.  That's a fantasy I can get behind.

I also understand that some guys have hot step-sisters or step-moms, but jeebus it seems like 1/3 of new vids these days are playing this out.  It's got to be more than that; are they just appealing to a general naughtiness attraction?  :dunno:

It is hilarious how pron infulences kids. Last time I was home, my 15 year old nephew was full of questions, and I'm the cool uncle. I know, sucks for him right?

He asks things like, "so when you're having a threesome.."

I stop him. "Buddy, a threesome is a maybe once or twice a lifetime event, if you are lucky. This is not a thing that happens randomly like in pron.

He asks, "have you ever had one?"

Me, "once. I paid for it. It wasn't as cool as you think."

Him: "has my dad ever had one?"

Me, "uh, I dunno, why don't you ask him sometime." (My brother has had many.)

Sadly my brother focuses more on being strict, so the kid doesn't feel real comfortable talking to him about stuff like that. Me and my BIL handle that stuff. Drugs and sex and whatnot.

The funny thing is, the girls believe pron is real too. The think, "oh, I'm supposed to have three ways and anal."

If I had a daughter, I'd hope my wife explains reality to her on that score.

I feel bad for today's youth because they will never experience the thrill of finding their dad's porn mag stash.  :(

I remember finding a stack of magazines hidden in my parent's closet. Penthouse. Playboy. Plus a mag which I pronounced in my head as "Oy!".  It wasn't until several years later when I took French in high school that I realized how to properly pronounce "Oui!".

When we were kids, we noticed dad taking a cardboard box outside to the dumpster. By himself.

Dad never took out trash. That's why we boys existed. There must be something good in that box.

Yep. 50+ Playboy's and penthouse. We were the Lords of the neighborhood for some time after that.

Have you guys seen these fake Videos? Basically Youcan put anyoned face and voice on anyones body.

And naturally, like everything else involving technology in this kind of arena, damn if it wasn't pornography that's on The cutting edge of this.

I mean, the potential for KP or fake KP or whatever you want to call it is huge. It's going to be damn interesting to see how that stuff is legislated and or regulated.

It's already scary how good this stuff is even as nascent technology. Talk about fake news. You could easily have video of a world leader declaring war and spread it via Facebook like wildfire.

If you think things are crazy now, I got a feeling it's going to get a hell of a lot crazier.

Yall keep saying "kids" watching porn... but aren't you really worried about your "boys" watching porn?

Generally speaking, girls aren't in to porn. I turned on "Google safe search" to save my 9 y.o. daughter from images that might pop up from Google searches, but other than that... I can't imagine her ever searching for porn.  Like boys would.

No, it's "kids".  I know more girls ages 12-25 that watch/have watched/will watch porn than I know of boys who do/have/will.

Really? I'm surprised by this.  Why do you think this is?

I have 2 young adult daughters, it wouldn't surprise me if they've seen it since it is so prevalent on the interwebs, but it would surprise me if they seek it out often like... a creepy old guy I know.

ok  no problem. but cant we make this a bit harder to access than to just google lesbian porn??

Can't websites be blocked by parents much like channels on a cable box?... I suppose you can't stop google>Google images but I was under the assumption that computer usage could be restricted in ways (I'm no IT guy) and kids who are smart enough just get around it.

When I was in middle school and high school I deleted all my browser history and cookies and everything to cover my tracks on the family PC.

yes parents can block. i get it. but as hard as i try that...there's ipads and iphones, and computers everywhere. with tv, i can't just say i want to watch porn right now. i have to go thru some avenues to watch. and pay. it's just my opinion...but i don't think you should just be able to get on a public pc and google porn and next thing you know it's unprotected hardcore porn. :dunno:and i mean friggen anything. some real nasty stuff. i just think it should be more regulated in some way :dunno:

If you have any type of premium channel, you have on demand access to some sort of softcore porn. I know it's not the same thing but it's all under the same umbrella and likely not what you want your kids watching if that's the issue

I know it may sound like I'm the creepy old pervert guy, but it's from listening really.  My son is 22.  I have a 17 year old nephew and two nieces that are 14 and 12.  Because I'm a lot closer to the kids ages, since I was only 16 when my son was born, I'm considered the "Cool Uncle".  At parties, I hear the girls and their friends talk about "girls doing it together" or "two guys at one time" and "pronhub" (obvious misspelling), around me because they think I'm not going to say anything.  An 11 year old once asked, "are all guys that big"?  My nephew and his friends, my son and his friends, they're talking about sports and the girls in their classes.  Do they search the web?  Sure, I've heard them talk about it, but no where near as often as the girls.  Plus they're older, so I really don't care that much.

My older niece has a 15 year old friend who's mom is 45 - single.  At my niece's 14th birthday party, this woman is telling other mothers that her daughter is asking her about pron websites.  The other mothers are saying stuff like "I saw it on my daughter's laptop".  Another said "Yeah, me too".   Of the 8, 6 of them said they knew about their daughters' web surfing.  The other two only had son's, and they said that they search their kids' history and they see almost no pron at all.

I'm not claiming it's a massive epidemic, but simply saying that the girls are surfing just as much as the boys.

Interesting.  My daughters haven't done what you described, but I can imagine that some girls would rather get off on pron vs. dealing with immature boys.

I'm not saying they're "getting off" on it, just that they are watching it.  I mean, they're obviously not going to go in to any detail about it when I'm there... they just talk about what they saw.

I think girls at that age see it more as an instructional thing.

Boys know more sooner due to p*** and girls don't want to look clueless for the boys.

Which is so wrong.

Because I find it hot and adorable when young teens are kind of awkward at that stage. It's a cute when you blast them in the face and they legitimately don't expect it.

Human bodies are a natural sight,  nothing wrong with any of it. I been cooz hounding since I was 6 years old lifting up little girls blankets to get an eyeful. A titty won’t scar your kid. The ever thinning veil that protects your little girl from banging black dudes though is def something to protect. But boys, nah, let them be men as early as possible.
