Heavy snow here

Recommended Posts

We've been pretty deep into summer for a few weeks, you can have some of our heat. I'll meet you halfway.

I was out shoveling. No sooner had I thought, damn, we're going to lose some branches tonight. And sure enough massive KRAAK somewhere nearby.

Even about 2in on your shovel weighs about 20 to 25 lb. Pure water.

Crazy.  It's felt like fall here almost the entire spring.  Lots of rain but thankfully no snow for awhile.

We didn't have winter this year, autumn rolled into spring which came in late January. February and March were also nice, April is when summer arrived.

Halloween and Mother's Day are the traditional start-and-stop of snow. So it's a little later than people had figured. Frick memorial Day is coming up right? Or whatever that holiday is.  They were prepping the pool over the weekend.

The coldest temp I could find in Texas today was 49 degrees. I figure that there must still be a few bars in Denver that he hasn't been 86'ed from.

Ah crap cakes, snow kicked up again. We've got a couple trees that were basically almost bent in half already. This is gonna be bad if it keeps up. One branch already fell from about 70-80 feet.

I get this mental block. I can never get Memorial and labor days straight.

Then you add in Memorial Day, veterans day, Armistice Day, but mostly it's just labor and Memorial That I always screw up.

That’s a bummer.  Used to love setting up the hibachi in the parking lot and and just hanging out all day.  Ski a little.... cook and drink a little.
