Woody Harrelson as Archie Bunker. Marissa to me as Edith. What a mess. I'm surprised Archie isn't a bull Dyke. Like Roseanne Barr starring as Archie.

In the original, there were some truths in how it reflected certain parts of society. Both for Archie and Meathead. I'm betting, in this one, they just trash current day right thinking with a leftist political agenda. No truths. But I'm only guessing.

This. Done right, they could use the legacy of these shows to break the stranglehold of PC culture on the modern era. What I expect instead is PC bashing of the straw man white racist that exists only in the leftist imagination.

I never was a big fan of All in the Family.  I thought the Jefferson's were hilarious though.  George was awesome!  

 

If I had to bet money though, I'd put it on the side that the new shows will be so left-turded that only socialists will like it.

 

Update:  Just read this: "When Jimmy Kimmel called Woody Harrelson to ask if he wanted to play Archie Bunker in a live version of All in the Family, Harrelson’s decision was a no-brainer."

Kimmel is involved?  I want to bet the US debt that these shows will be the worst of all-time.
