Bill E.

I was mentioned in an article on US News and World Report website.

Recommended Posts

Actually they reprinted an article on their site from the Erie Times News about my dives.  I was in Erie a month ago and an old professor of mine told a writer about what I do so he wrote an article.  It was picked up through the AP in about a dozen other newspapers and USNaWR.  Kind of nice to be in an article on a news site where half the country does not hate your guts.  https://www.usnews.com/news/best-states/georgia/articles/2019-05-25/erie-native-dives-for-prehistoric-shark-teeth

I watched the whole film. Great stuff. I would thing about bull sharks the most, if I hit something I could not see.

Thanks! I think about that some.  It could happen.  As an instructor we learned that 99% of dive accidents were because the diver did something wrong not because of equipment or sharks.  I try to keep that in mind and try not to do stupid things and I have done my share of them.

I have done I would guess 6000 dives for teeth here over 20 years and so you take it for granted that the sharks will leave me alone.  They are there though.  It is like going on a trip on the highway in the car.  you think about being in an accident but do what you have to.  It could happen though.
