Saying "I quit. Life is sometimes a bltch." on public website, and not saying anything else about it , is like saying "I fell of roof today. It's over."

And then not saying anything else... What's point of posting in the first place?

thanks.  wife just pushing a shitty divorce I don't want.  Going to have to re-fi but likely able to keep the house.  Not looking forward to splitting time with the kids.  Witnessed an accident where two cars collided because one ran a stop sign about 35 mph and then both cars ended up hitting me and wouldn't you know it, neither had insurance.

All that said, I guess sh1t could still be worse

It will all work out in the end.  Hopefully, you have a good support system during this.  Good luck and maybe you end up with some young chippy.

Dang, sorry to hear about the divorce.  Sounds like it is a done deal; if so your kids are at an impressionable age so my advice is to make sure they know they are loved and not a part of what is going on.

Also this place can be surprisingly understanding and cathartic in serious situations, if you want to talk it out.

I agree with Jerry.

I'd recommend getting a counselor involved for the kids.

My parents made me go to counseling when they got divorced. I was six. I just remember the therapist being like "it isn't your fault" and me being surprised that that was even a possibility.

Six sounds at least 2 years too young for that conversation, but I’m no counselor...

Sorry to hear it man. Best of luck in a tough situation. You seem like a great dad and there's no reason that can't continue. Kids adapt.  And yeah it could be worse. You could be married to Gloria.

That’s a good joke.

We tell kids lots of lies.

Santa Claus is real.

You can grow up to be president

The divorce wasn’t your fault
