Tim Russert Died 11 years ago yesterday

Recommended Posts

Perhaps the biggest journalist death of the Cyber age.  Russert was left leaning, but smart and fair. He brought Meet the Press back from death.  It was must watch and must be on if you were a pundit.  What made his death even more significant was the fact that there was no real replacement. Jon Stewart was even interviewed.  Chuck Todd assumed a role that he was and is unable to fill, and is part of reason the press is unable to fulfill their role as the protectors of our democracy.  Russert's death was a huge loss to news. RIP.

Agreed.

And Jon Stewart -- ya see him faking his sorrow and tears to Congress?  First class fake piece of sh!t.

All true. A real newsman, who put his political leanings to the side. At least it appeared he did, which is the trick. These leftist hacks today can't seem to grasp that.
