I think pro golfers have it made. Their careers are longer, they travel, they get endorsements and make a lot of money.

Yes and no. It’d be a great life if you were single for sure. Pounding a thousand golf balls every day would get old pretty quick IMO

I'm sure it's a great life.  All professional athletes have a great life. Along with rock stars.  From a poontang angle, if you're not Tiger Woods, you'd have to go up to chicks and explain to them who you are.  I suppose once word spread around the party and the star-chasers google their name, they probably get a lot of offers.  But the mega-stars like Gronk have their pick from the moment they enter the room.

I was on a flight with Yasiel Puig from the Dodgers (now Reds) earlier this year.  You may not know him but out west he has a somewhat recognizable look.  Waiting to get on the plane a super hot chick turned to me and asked me if it was him; I looked and said "oh yeah, I think you are right."  This being Southwest where you pick a seat, she conveniently sat next to him, and it happened to be the row across from mine.  She worked him hard; I'm surprised they weren't having sex by the end of the flight.  But I have a suspicion that they got together later that night.

It's tough for people like you who underachieve in life to understand how to have a great life, including a great sex life, a financially secure life, and a rewarding life. This is why low lifes envy the popular crowd. All living in a internet dream world.

You are once again incorrect.  Your comment, "All professional athletes have a great life.  Along with rock stars" is false.

To be fair, it's only his opinion.  It's not a fact.

Exactly.  just because someone has depression or whatever, doesn't mean his lifestyle isn't awesome according to my definition of awesome. Kurt Cobain was considered a pioneer of grunge music. Nirvana was well respected. His life was songwriting and touring to a bunch of screaming fans who adored him. And he had a beautiful little girl.  The fact that there was something off in his brain doesn't effect my opinion that he had a great life. Same with the others.  They had the world by the ass.

It's obvious you are incapable of making your own great life, so you envy others. Don't put other people down who take their lives into their own hands and take charge of their happiness. This is probably why you want big government, a socialist implementation. So you can live off of other's labor. And envy those in charge.

If you keep trying hard to chase down entertainers, maybe someday you will be able to tell your other waste of life friends, "OMG, I met Mookie Betts!! Can you freaking believe it!!? He shook my hand for God's sake!! I will never wash it again. Trust me."

I'd rather be accused of being obsessed with celebrity than being obsessed with a message board poster.  Go check your last 15 or so posts. Going back to last night. It's a cry for help buddy. I hope you choose to get it.

I think the translation is, because I think Rob Gronkowski is living a great life, I want big government, want handouts, and envy people who take charge.  lol  I'm glad I'm not the only one confused.  🤣

What's your question? Those who promote socialism either want to be the one's making the rules and receiving the perks, or want the government to take care of them. Which one of those two are you?

You fight for socialism everyday on this board. How is that so hard to understand?

Im highly skeptical of both of your lives to have enough time to do this each and every day.

A lot of successful people with great wives and mansion who sit and post the same thing each and every day of their lives all day long.

Yeah skeptical of a lot of people here who have this sort of time on their hands.

So I work from home and have many hours of concentrated work and/or meetings to attend and then have a hour off here or there but have to be online for supporting others on my projects. What's the big deal? I often come on the site for an hour or two then check out for a while. I'm not insecure about my lifestyle. :dunno:

it was their own undoing that caused them to not have a better life. Name one that didn't do drugs at a clip that isn't sustainable.

I have a pretty good life. A wife, three healthy kids. Nice house and car. I can take any type of vacation I want and can pretty much buy anything I want (within reason).

I probably won't have concussion or health issues due to football related activities.

I wouldn't trade my next 50 years for Gronks next 10. Because after that his body is really going to start falling apart.

Gronk doesn't even have kids. No life is complete without the perfect child(ren)

Imagine me saying that 10- years ago :o

Is getting laid that hard or rare that someone would view it as an accomplishment after a certain point in their life? Just wondering.

I totally understand the draw of not having children. Doing anything you want and having way more money would be nice too. But I honestly believe when the child free people get older the majority of them will regret not having children especially the women. Not all, but most of them will wish to go back.

Nothing wrong with that, It’s just the way you speak about it and the verbiage you choose when speaking about it is funny to me. You’re just a really superficial person, we wouldn’t get along at all. If this is actually how you are that is.

It's funny that that is so true, yet they think that socialism will give them the keys to happiness. Just odd.

Many years ago, there was a thread here asking whose life you'd rather have, Derek Jeter or Matt Leinart (wow, that didn't age well). The premise being, both were single and good looking. Jeter was in the Big Apple, and Leinart was big man on campus at USC.

I was thinking of doing a thread sequel, but after thinking of Rob Gronkowski, I couldn't think of anyone who could possibly be living a batter life than him. Fun, loved by everyone, worth $153 million, has his pick of women, TV offers.....the ultimate bachelor.

I thought of a few others who are living single life in luxury right now too.  Jimmy Garapolo, Ben Simmons, Odell Beckham Jr.....but I don't know if any of them can compete with Gronk.  I'd love to live one week in his shoes. Although my liver might not be able to handle it.

Anyone else you can think of that might be living a better life than Gronkowski right now?

There you go.  That was the original post. Please point out what verbiage seems funny to you. Or superficial. It was actually intended to get a bunch of dudes to talk about dude things. But I want to improve as a poster.
