Biden is as inspiring as stale bread and shows signs that time may have slightly worn on his mental acumen. He encapsulates the kind of Democrat that made me a Republican in the 80s. But at least his old school instincts indicate that he's willing to work across the aisle for the good of America, even though he's getting beaten up for that, unfairly, by the freak show. Nowadays, working across the aisle to get things done is a bad thing. We saw how the Dems all whiffed on the question of how they intend to deal with Mitch McConnell in the Senate. LOL. At least Biden has a chance seeing as hes done it before, disastrously in a swamp creature summit that royally pissed me off, but he has done it. Also, Biden's policy ideas, I may not like them, but they are at least recognizable as the sort of sh*t we've been talking about in public discourse for my entire life (until he joined the rest of the freak show by raising his hand for free health care for illegals). 

It's inconceivable how stupid this party is. Biden is a weak, uninspiring candidate and should be a non-starter. Instead he's what passes for sane in today's Democratic Party and the freak show is trying desperately to knock him off his horse. Unfortunately for them, there's so many splitting the freak vote many ways such that Biden can win consistently with ~28% or so of the vote that isn't batshit nuts. And if the freakshow does take him down, it'll be by someone who's fallen out of the Overton window.

I always feel good showing up to vote, not knowing the lady volunteer, knowing she doesn't know me, but then she doesn't look at my driver's license and just checks my name and lets me go in anyway. It's really well thought out how I need ID to buy beer but not to vote. It feels so clean and incorruptible. No one could possibly think of a way to exploit this, and even if they did, they would never dare try.

If I had to venture a guess... I would think that this might effect Republican registration in California more than anyone else, as I can see why they would skip a few voting cycles, because they’re more apt to think they’re vote doesn’t really count here. But I’m perfectly fine with them purging inactive voters.
