I don't know if it's been mentioned, but it seems that the democrats, including Obamas VP, are confirming what a disaster Obamacare care is. Lol.

They are, but they won't specifically come out and say it.  Just like "open borders".

Someone should have asked the angry black bittch about how she sucked and focked her way to where she is.

That’s a non sequitur to my question.  Do you want conversation or just to troll?  Try again.

I told you that I watched 30 minutes total of both debates.  I also have zero interest in debating a Trump hack about Democrats.  So join the hate-fest with the rest of the Fox News sheep.

I think everyone with a D behind their name believes Obamacare was a necessary step in the right direction that needs to be made better.  Everyone with a R behind their name thinks it was terrible until it comes time to come up with something better. Then they stare at each other with their finger in their ass and go...ummmm...ummmmm.  ummmmm

Ah, that's being nitpicky.  I think we all know what he meant.  Don't act like the Dems.  Rise above it!!

No, it's not being nitpicky, it's showing how out of touch with real life he is.

I feel like there was a concerted effort to desensitize us to the phrase "Medicare for all."  I had never heard that until these debates, but it was said a bazillion times.  :dunno:

I think the Dems are certainly headed down that road.  I agree.

Serious questions regarding the Yang $1K plan:

- would an ID be required? If so that's a non-starter for Dems who claim requiring ID to vote rules some people out.  If not, then holy sh1t open the fraud gates!

- all candidates last night raised their hand when asked if their Medicare-for-all would cover illegals.  Would the same be true for the free money?

If the $1000 replaces welfare, unemployment, "disability," and whatever else, and no illegals like get his Medicare money.... eh....

I've only heard excerpts of this plan (although I thought I heard it was suggested by Harris).  I heard she's suggesting $6000/yr (or $500/month) in tax breaks for anyone earning under $100,000. And the money would come from erasing the tax breaks Trump gave the 1% richest people.  Why would anyone be against that?  Unless you're a multi-millionaire?

Its possible to make over $100,000 and not be a multi-millionaire so I would say many would be against this.

He explained that cost would be covered by adding a VAT.   The way to pay wasn't my question though, it was how to ensure there's no fraud and whether illegals are eligible.  Not trolling, just asking honest questions.

In my opinion, it's a shell game and it's stupid.  If people are getting an extra $500 per month, they'll likely accept a lower hourly wage rate or salary.  Ultimately, employers can pay people less and the net affect is probably zero.  But, it'll continue to secure votes from the uneducated and leaches of society.

I get that, but the benefits of all that expendable money being pumped back into the economy versus a bunch of rich people sticking it into into their stocks or savings would be much more beneficial for the country.

Then lets make the cutoff $500,000. I don't like the idea of punishing anyone that is barely making 6 figs.

I’m not a millionaire but own stocks hence received a capital gain tax deduction.

Do you wish to change your post to reflect accuracy, not a Democrat talking point.

The GOP, if they’re smart, will take the image of all ten Democratic presidential nominees pledging to provide “free” health care to illegal immigrants and make a few 10s of thousands of ads with it.

It’s absolutely absurd and anybody who ever pays taxes should see that image dozens of times in the next year and a half.

That's why I love those show of hands questions.  No clever semantics can be used to confuse the issue.

Funny that Biden didn't actually raise his hand but did a little finger raise move so that the moderator actually thought he was against the question asked.

They can combine it with the image of 9 out of 10 raising their hands to say that illegals shouldn't be deported if they didn't commit a crime (other than the whole being here illegally of course).

Right, what a horrible visual.  I simply don't understand how any hard working citizen could vote for one of these clowns.

I assure you, I don't think the Republicans have a plan other than their original plan.  The plan of deregulating the healthcare industry completely to allow more competition.  More competition always equals lower costs.  The problem is that Obama and the democrats forced this on us (the people - not republicans), and it's not good.  It's like giving a vegan a steak and telling them, 'here, I want you to make this the best steak I ever had'.  How does a vegan who hates meat know how you're going to want a steak?

Same thing when it comes to pork chops and jews. Tough, dry, and just an all around bad pork chop.

Biden is maybe the one candidate that has the experience to understand how stupid that would be.  I feel like he is trying to figure out how to navigate the shiot show of this primary to get the nomination.  Unfortunately he also seems somewhere on the senile scale.  :dunno:

If Biden did all this racist stuff in the 70's and 80's, why wasn't it brought up before he became VP? Oh, I forgot. Obama didn't have to answer pesky questions like that.

Did Biden really say..."I'm the only guy that got...The number of clips in a gun banned."  ?

He did not have a good night even short of Harris’s mean-spirited evisceration. Looked a little confused, mis-spoke a bunch and was at a loss for words a few times. Not good when people are wondering if you’re too old for this.

And I say this as a supporter of Biden  (among other democratic candidates).

If we’re going to do a guaranteed minimum income, $1k per month is far too little.

Its an idea whose time may come with continued automation and growth of A.I. I don’t think we’re there yet but I do appreciate that he’s putting it out there.
