They should have sent National League teams. Even foreigners hate the designated hitter.

It's dumb when we send our sports teams to other countries to play. I still want the Blue Jays and Raptors kicked out or forced to relocate to the USA. Leave the playing on foreign soil to olympic and soccer phags.

I said to my wife:  two baseball teams went to London and a football game broke out.  :D

I presume the idea is to get them to like it.  I thought about it watching the highlights yesterday:  baseball is one of those sports that imitates combat in a way.  If you see a large man hurl a cannonball 95 mph, and a Gregor Clegane sized guy like Aaron Judge swing a club with bad intentions and hit it back over the castle wall 400+ feet away... you might not quite get the game, but there is a visceral "oh my" factor which most humans can appreciate.

I thought it was pretty good.

Good as in the Yankees ended the pathetic Red Sox thoughts of the AL East.

from a Baseball viewers experience, it was dreadful.

There was a thought it was going to be high scoring beforehand. Bad pitching, turf, and the heat. Not surprising.

2 games in 9 days would be Cricket.  9 hours didn't give the English time to get a good buzz.

Typically, Test and first-class cricket matches are played over three to five days with, at least, six hours of cricketbeing played each day. List A matches last for six hours or more and twenty20 and 100-ball matches lasting just a few hours.
