Baseball in London. Was the idea to get them to like the sport?

It's dumb when we send our sports teams to other countries to play. I still want the Blue Jays and Raptors kicked out or forced to relocate to the USA. Leave the playing on foreign soil to olympic and soccer phags.

I said to my wife:  two baseball teams went to London and a football game broke out. 

I presume the idea is to get them to like it.  I thought about it watching the highlights yesterday:  baseball is one of those sports that imitates combat in a way.  If you see a large man hurl a cannonball 95 mph, and a Gregor Clegane sized guy like Aaron Judge swing a club with bad intentions and hit it back over the castle wall 400+ feet away... you might not quite get the game, but there is a visceral "oh my" factor which most humans can appreciate.

There was a thought it was going to be high scoring beforehand. Bad pitching, turf, and the heat. Not surprising.
