I’ve got no problem with black actors playing characters but come on. This is a little too dam much. People were throwing a fit to make sure Aladdin had race appropriate characters but when they change an iconic white character with red hair to a black one no one bats an eye

At this point I assume whenever something gets remade the lead will always be Black. Gay. Female Or transgender. Hollywood and the left do as much as they can to make us believe that your average person cares about black gay or transgenders. Its simply not true. Most are at best apathetic to these.

Both beauty and the beast and Cinderella were recently remade with white leads. This is the exception.

But this is only 1 out of 3 for recent disney remakes.  If they do another remake with a hispanic or asian lead that would be fine too, i could see Disney trying for 50% of their princess movies having a white lead.

 

Greatest american hero remake was cancelled.

Starfire was an orange alien. I think they would have been better off with an asian or hispanic in that role since they already have an african american in teen titans.  A Chinese woman in that role would have given them a major boost to the chinese market which is huge for American super hero movies. I think they made a mistake there.
