I'm on vacation on a lake right now.  Tons to do and don't have to deal with salt and sand.

Lake and it's not close for me. Fishing, jet skis , pontoon boat, camping on the shoreline.

heading back up to tahoe tomorrow.

I am still a sucker for tropical beaches. surf, boogie board, snorkeling/diving, jet skis, windsurfing,

Pools to chill.

You didn’t read the full article you referenced, did you?

I live here. I see it on a regular basis. Keep Googling.

You mean, beyond:

Yeah, stopped reading...😁

Exactly. You have a headline mind. The seal population is actually just returning and has not reached levels from the 60’s at all.

There are complex issues with no clear causes or fixes. This is one of many and you showed another example of why you can’t give a reasonable analysis.

Of course, I've completely failed to factor in New England's massive opioid crisis. I'm sure that has a lot to do with recent shark attacks.

😂

What's next? Teddy Bruschis stroke?  Marine life simply picking up the slack from Aaron Rodriguez?

If I could only have one it would be ocean. Waves, salt water, breeze, sand, roaming drug dealers, overall vibe. Plus surfing, kite surfing, sailing if I ever wanted to get off the sidelines and start living.

Alpine lakes are beautiful and great for solitude. Regular lakes are great for boating, jet skis, beers and bikinis.

Pools are hit or miss, the enjoyment is almost always dependent on the crowd. Instahoes in Vegas or Scottsdale, college girls at the apartment complex, milfs/single moms at the neighborhood pool. Pool days with the right crowd, music, bbq, and beer are hard to beat.

I still have to go with ocean because an ocean by itself (no boat, no hoes, no bbq, no milfs, no beer) is still enough to keep a smile on my face.
