Except for actually wearing women's shoes, I gotta go with Tom's.

https://www.toms.com/

Ballet shoes actually is probably the winner.

I wear birkenstocks. Have bought the exact same kind over and over. Have had at least six pairs. Yes they are ugly as fock, but they are the most comfortable thing on gods earth, so I don't care.

I owned climbing shoes, but only wore them for climbing. They are uncomfortable as fock, and wear out very quickly. who wears those as normal shoes?

Real climbing shoes are supposed to be extremely tight, generally very pointy, and bend your foot funny. Anyone wearing them in a bar is a pretentious tvvat of massive proportions.

Tom's are fairly non-descript in my experience. Maybe a CA thing. At least most the time I've noticed them on a guy it's been a solid neutral and part of a casual look.

The ones I've seen are rather flamboyant. And the doosh wearing them always has to bring up the charitable end of it.

What guy wears ballet shoes unless he is actually a ballet dancer?

Crocks; not even close.

That was what I was thinking.  After looking at the list and some of the comments, I am not so sure.

Sock with sandals.

Wouldnt that be the footwear least likely to be worn by a homosexual male?

Crocs aren't ghey, they are just focking hideous. I'd venture to guess that 99.99% of male croc owners are not ghey. The gheys tend to be pretty judgy about footwear. Probably popular with the bull dyke crowd though.

OP creates a survey about homosexual footwear, then lists probably the least homosexual footwear in boots, followed by a combo of nerdy old man type footwear (Crocs, birks, flops, tevas) and sport specific footwear nobody actually wears casually (ballet, climbing, golf).

I think the correct answer is whatever kind of shoes OP is wearing are the most homosexual.

Nope. And I don't think 95% of the folks on this site could actually pick those shoes out of a line up.

It was from a distance, and I guess to be totally fair, they could have been Princess Flats.

I've got Sanuks, something like this:

https://www.sanuk.com/mens-sidewalk-surfers/vagabonded/1015926.html?dwvar_1015926_color=DKB#start=26&cgid=mens-view-all

Supposedly the soles are made of recycled plastic bottles or whatever, I don't care, they are the most comfy shoes ever, especially in a hot climate.  Also they are machine washable.

they look like they've been cut down from other shoes. Sort of like the Jorts of other shoes.
