Ultimate dooshery or fair play? Congressman calls out individual Trump donors in San Antonio

Think it's a doosh move.  But....the President did say we were being invaded by immigrants, and lo and behold some dude goes to El Paso because he's troubled by the Mexican invasion.  As a Latino, I'd probably have a different take than a white dude.

Still, it was the wrong thing to do.  If people boycott those businesses....fine.  Anything more and it's on Castro.

That is not what Trump said. Even this morning he made it clear about illegal immigrants and legal immigration. He supports legal immigration.

It's so bizarre the way so many Americans view illegal immigration.  If someone broke in to your home, no one would be saying YOU were the bad guy for not wanting them there.

Still waiting for anti immigrant "rhetoric".

Is it natural for you to lie so easily?

One key thing the liberals don't want to tell you about the manifesto....

The author says he's held these beliefs for years, before Donald Trump became President.

How am I lying?  He has spoken about an invasion of our Southern Border.  At a campaign rally in Florida, he quipped how do we stop them....someone says shoot them....he smiles and says only in the panhandle of Florida can you say something like that.  Then someone goes out and shoots people in El Paso referencing an invasion.

I do not think Trump caused the shooting....but the sh!t he says is counterproductive.  It has been from day one.  And while I think Castro is in the wrong for doxing donors, I do understand why he is a bit more passionate than I am considering his ethnicity.

So where are the lies?

Did the El Paso shooter reference a Hispanic invasion?  Wonder why.

Not sure he used those exact words.  I know I've been talking about illegal immigration problems for at least 15 years so it's not like this is something new.  Trump is just blunt about it.  And I do know that this individual published a "manifesto" where he very specifically said his views existed long before Trump ran for President.

You wrote.." the President did say we were being invaded by immigrants"

He isn't against immigrants, he is against illegal immigration. Those caravans he was referring too were people that would be illegal immigrants.

Because they hate Trump. Obama talked about illegal immigration as well but that was ok. Heck, there was no mention of detention centers during Obama but now under Trump they call them concentration camps. The MSM is very at fault for causing so much divide in this country.

They don't just hate Trump. They hate everyone who doesn't agree with them. Trump is just an extension of that. When he's gone they will still hate everyone who isn't down with their silly, childlike ideaology

Here is an example of the crap the media does that is wrong on so many levels

Frank Figluizzi, an NBC News national security contributor, said during an appearance on MSNBC Tuesday night that President Trump erred in ordering flags to be flown at half mast because of the mass shootings in El Paso, Texas, and Dayton, Ohio, because of the importance of Aug. 8 to white supremacists.

"It's the little things and the language and messaging that matters," Figluizzi told anchor MSNBC's Brian Williams on "The 11th Hour." "The president said that we will fly our flags at half-mast until Aug. 8. That's 8/8."

"Now, I'm not going to imply that he did this deliberately, but I am using it as an example of the ignorance of the adversary that's being demonstrated by the White House," he continued.

"The numbers 88 are very significant in neo-Nazi and white supremacy movement. Why? Because the letter 'H' is the eighth letter of the alphabet, and to them the numbers 88 together stand for 'Heil Hitler.' So we're going to be raising the flag back up at dusk on 8/8," Figluizzi added.

Quote

The hate-filled document, posted minutes before the attack took place, is believed to have been written by the suspect, and primarily detailed his hatred for immigrants, saying the attack is a “response to the Hispanic invasion of Texas”.

He referenced an invasion.  Trump has characterized immigration as an invasion.  Those are facts.  What we wanna do with them is up to us, and I've already stated that I don't think Trump is responsible for any bloodshed but that his words are counterproductive and that, as a Latino, Castro would react more passionately than a white to those words.  And if anything happens to those donors as a result of Castro's actions, he should be held accountable.

But...but.....but....

Not necessarily you because you seem like you have a couple brain cells but man some of the dudes around here who either actively manipulate what you say or just plain can't comprehend what is being typed is amazing.  This place is kinda the right wing version of the Democratic Socialist Convention.

Mass immigration, as has been happening on our Southern border, is an invasion.  I don't see anything factually wrong about that statement.  As for Castro, he seems to be a Latino supremacist.  What is factually or morally superior to his position than to anyone else's?

So Castro gets a pass because he's latino. Cool deal...

Does that mean legal Americans get a pass to criticize ILLEGAL immigration,  because ya know, we are legal ?

Why doesn't trump get that pass, since he's ya know...the president and it's his duty to look out for and do what's best for this country and its legal citizens.  Isn't his passion understandable ?

If Trump really wanted to help US workers he wouldn’t hire illegals and visa workers to work at his resorts or have his crappy clothing line manufactured in China. For that natter he wouldn’t stiff small businesses and defraud people through a fake university. And if he was really worried about acts of terrorism and violence he wouldn’t soft pedal acts of violence committed by white nationalists.

He is a straight up fraud selling racial resentment for votes. You’ve got to be some kind of retarded to buy Don’s working class champion malarkey.

Semantics.  RP gonna RP.

Any immigration I've mentioned is illegal immigration.

And Trump characterized it as an invasion.  I proved he did when asked to prove it.  It was similar language to what the shooter used.

Remind again of Trump "soft-pedaling" acts of violence committed by white supremacists.  Which ones are we talking about?  Are these acts of violence committed by white supremacists more or less detestable than acts of violence committed by blacks, latinos or any other ethnic group?

You know, for a white guy, you sure act like someone who isn't white or who looks white but doesn't consider himself white.

I said Castro should be held accountable for his actions, though understandable because of his ethnicity.  Fireballer said the same thing.  As of yet nothing bad has happened so I'm not too worked up.  But if something bad does happen, Castro should take responsibility.

It's actually more harsh than the standard I've applied to the President who says stupid sh!t but shouldn't be held responsible for whatever actions it inspires in others.

Basically, I'm against our "leaders" acting like idiots.  It's obvious we're not on the same page.
