I think we got it through AMC but it originally aired on IFC. NSFW language. Brockmire is awesome. The new season is kinda weird though. I am almost finished rewatching Weeds. We we are trying Altered Carbon. So far it is ok. I had never seen The Wire until this year. It is great.

I think it gets much better starting with season 2. After season one, I was willing to keep giving it a chance. Soon into season 2, we were hooked.

I loved the Wire at first. On closer inspection and considering David Simon and his beliefs I no longer think it’s all that great. Some great aspects like the juking of crime stats, which is real, but a little too much white man bad.
MDC 5,890 Posted March 28, 2020 I watched Marc Maron’s stand up End Times Fun on Netflix. I’d give it a solid B. I’m a big fan but I know he’s not for everyone. My wife laughed like once.

Herbivore 905 Posted April 16, 2020 Kim's Convenience. Comedy about a Korean family convenience store. It has a bit of All in the Family vibe. First ep covers how the Gay pride parade is going thru the neighborhood. I think its canadian, 4 seasons so far.
nzoner 936 Posted April 16, 2020 Just finished this 5 part limited series here's a brief quote from a review I read The Family seems to think it’s only telling a compelling story if the Fellowship is actually a potent political force. But there’s something fascinating, and tragic, in the way it documents a group of ordinary men so easily convinced that they’re exceptional, even to the point of being handpicked by God like ripe fruit in a celestial grocery store. It’s a thread in contemporary politics that runs all the way to Number One Observatory Circle, if not the White House.
