So, I've read "manslaughter", but nothing about the severity.  First degree, second... ?  From what I've read, first degree voluntary manslaughter can carry a 30 year sentence.  Second degree - 15 years plus 15 more for probation.  In my opinion, he should get the 15/15.  If he gets something like involuntary and is sentenced to like 3 years, that would be bull crap.

For manslaughter? He may get 15, but he'll serve 5 at the absolute max. If he lives that long. More like 15 months.

I looked up Florida's manslaughter sentences and apparently a "second degree manslaughter" sentence is 15 years.
