Yes I can...but only because in looking up my brain teaser this morning, I came across this one, so I disqualify myself.

It is the only number that is exactly 2 integers greater than 8,549,176,318.

I don't know if it's right, but I didn't think of this until I said the numbers out loud.  The numbers are...

Eight

Five

Four

Nine....

When the numbers are individually spelled out, they're in alphabetical order.

A man is headed to a mountain along with a lion, a goat, and a basket of vegetables. On the way, he needs to cross a river and the boat can only carry two things at a time. If he takes the vegetables, the lion will eat the goat. If he takes the lion, the goat will eat the vegetables. How does he cross the river?

takes the goat across the river leaves the goat

comes back gets the vegetables, takes it across the river, brings the goat back

drops the goat takes the lion across

comes back gets the goat

the real question is, how in the hell is he going to get a lion in a boat

amazing how peoples minds work, I saw instantly 96

I spent a good 15 mins trying to figure out 40

another thing to look at within the number is do people get 12 for example as 2 5's +2 or 5 2's +2

Yeah, I think the end of the riddle is more like...gets in the boat with the lion mauls guy, then jumps out of the boat and eats the goat.  Least that's what I learned from Life of Pi

I'm guessing that since he got that far with the lion, he'd at least make it across the river.  My question was the same as posty.  Where'd the boat come from.
