Are more living creatures born or dying every second?

We have free range chickens and guinea fowl who chow all day on bugs.  It made me wonder, are more living creatures born or die each second of the day?

I know that there is a lot of biodiversity that is endanged and going extinct due to loss of habitat and food cycle upheaval and climate change ... but as for overall numbers, I don't know.

It’s a fascinating topic to me.  I’m telling you: These 23 fowl eat the shlt out of bugs. On the other hand, there are constantly bugs available for them to eat.

There are far more living creatures at any given time than those being born. Those that are living can die at any second.
