Week2 Streaming Defenses

Recommended Posts

And keep your 'I can't believe 'x' D is sitll available in your league...can I join?' comments to yourselves asshats.

Panthers at home v Bucs

Jets at home v Browns

Texans home v Jags (they didn't look great on Mon, but Jags b/up QB)

Bills at Giants (not really a travel game and it's the Giants)

Bengals at home v Niners (more of a sneaky play, they got to Wilson in Sea, and since preseseason Garapollo penchant for throwing pick 6s or potential pick 6s)

More thinking long term for these next few, are these teams possible answers?

Pack schedule has some hits and misses on it

Titans, not so much this week (Colts) but schedule has some potential

Saints, eyeing them. Next up Rams/Hawks/Cowboys, but after that Bucs/Jags/Bears/Falcons/Bucs/Panthers/Falcons

I like the Texans too.  If they can slow down Leonard, a rookie QB meeting JJ Watt for the first time could be a spectacle to behold.  He did look good throwing the ball against KC though, but the Texans will pressure him.  If Cam Robinson doesn't start again, the Jags will be down one starting lineman and one backup as well.  I'm not a fan of the Houston Secondary, so some garbage time points against them are possible, but that's the case with everyone.

that's 2 and half for Texans and a half for Bills, curious guys...no on Jets or Panthers?

Are they maybe not available in respective leagues or other reason?

I did the same. I still have Cowboys from last week, so they might be a good start as well (plus they have Miami in Week 3). Carolina has a great matchup as well, and I'm still keeping my eye on GB emerging as a set-it-and-forget-it DST for the rest of the season.

As for Houston, not too worried about Minshew's Week 1 performance. I mean, it's possible he's the next Kurt Warner/Jonathan Moxon, but the more likely outcome is still that he ends up playing like the sixth-round rookie backup that he is.

I don't like the Panthers D, but if Jameis doesn't figure things out on a short week, that could be a particularly ugly game.

the only reason I don't like Jets or Panthers, is not chasing last week's bad performances by 2 POTENTIALLY high powered offenses in the browns and bucs

i expect absolutely 0 people to jump on this, but i expect an impressive performance out of the steelers defense this week

That's what I figured, I was just making sure wasn't missing something else.

Yes it was against Winston, but the 49ers looked good on Sunday and now they get a Bengals team that is already down a couple olinemen, Green and possibly Mixon. Dalton has been known to throw a pick or two as well.

You do realize you're going against the Iron Rule of Eli, right?

If you bet on Eli Manning, he $%@#%^s you. If you bet against him, he $@#%^@#s you.

For those that like to plan a week ahead for Defense (I do), The Cowgirls get the Dolphins week 3.

Do I drop Rams vs NO? For bills or Texans?

If you drafted the Rams, you probly weren't thinking you'd be streaming defenses, did you?

You might give it a few weeks before you give up on a position that is inconsistent anyway.

I would drop the Rams for the Bills.

Everyone drafted a def, everyone that’s as a def postion as to.

No biggie I’m dropping them, I would easly.

Like postes above, def scoring in ff is so inconsistent, and that makes it a great reason do drop them for the Bills.

I'm always weak on Def each year and tend to stream, it's a bit annoying.  I have Cleveland and Philly's D, both blew last week.

Bills are available and may pick them up, question is which stinker do I drop, I'm leaning towards the Eagles.

Browns now.

Jets have Darnold out and Bell looks to be limited.

Starting Panthers D tonight. Can do worse than a home team on TNF vs an erratic QB coming off a stinker. Will probably be a shootout but the logic is there.

Ok I changed my pick when I heard about the sad news of the illness to Darnold and the Bell issue.

I was able to land the Browns def , who where dropped on Tuesday.

Just so there is no confusion, I didn’t take the Bills def, but I did take the Browns def.

Dropped Philly.  Going with Browns this week and stashing Dallas for next week.

49's.......Cincy OL is in bad  shape {injury} last week they allowed 5-sacks against a average Seattle D...Ford, Buckner, Bosa & Alexander will tee off on  a team also missing its best offensive players Green & Mixon....My hunch 5-7 sacks and 2-turnovers, a defense trending up into the top 10......

Good call.  For some reason, I just read it as Josh Jacobs...

Guess I need to quit trying to watch college football, read Facebook posts, and reply on a message board at the same time.
