I'll admit I thought he was a one trick pony.

Sure was fun to watch in college, though

He's still only a 2 trick pony.  Passing and running is all he can do.  Bust is still on the table.

The greatness of Ozzie Newsome - 2018 draft:

* BALT trades up w/Philly for the 32nd pick (1st rd.), select Lamar Jackson - in exchange for a two 2nds and a 4th.. BALT also rec's a 4th in return.

* BALT sends the 75th pick (3rd rd.) to KC for their 3rd rd. pick (86th) and KC's 4th round pick......... With the 86th pick - they select Mark Andrews, TE.

:shocking:

I admit I was wrong about him as well, mainly from seeing an interview with him where didn't seem to be the sharpest tool in the shed.

Lets wait until we see what Bill Belicheck does to him. The schedule up until then is turd D central. If he performs like this against NE, then I'll be sold. If  Belicheck creates the blueprint on him, the the smart teams will shut him down. Also if he continues to run, what you will get is the current sCam Newton. No threat to run + no other skills = worthless. The 2 teams he played had absolutely no experience at NFL head coaching.

I'm not crowning him yet. Miami and Arizona? 5th and 6th Pre-season games.

:thumbsup:Plus this offense was rebuilt for him in the offseason. Teams will get some tape and make adjustments.

Great point.  Baltimore didn't have an RPO package for Flacco.    Let's see how it goes by mid-season.

That being said, as a Cards fan who watched the game, he looked really sharp.

When he loses his starting job in a couple years, will he start kneeling during the national anthem?

Are there any indications that he’s a sh1tbag?

I hope for his sake, no. I know nothing about him.

Exactly.
wtf is Timmy trying to say here?

Well, there are three phases to the game and Lamar can only play a small role in one phase. He can pass and run, but he can’t catch, block, play special teams, or play defense. He’s clearly not the total package.

Lamar has been brought along slow. Plays for an excellent franchise in a horrible division. Kaep was a very good scrambler but he is nowhere near Lamar. I don't see bust in Baltimore.

At some point, either injuries, defenses, or age will nullify the scrambling. He will have to live or die from the pocket. We shall see if he can.

BMore does great at tailoring the offense to the QBs strengths and staying away from weakness. They got Flacco paid and he has serious flaws. I have watched Lamar from the start, he is very accurate. So he can pass.

This.

Lamar is half focking retarded and probably needs spell check for signing autographs. I will hold off football judgement until he plays a varsity team or two.

I thought he would be a bust this year and that Baltimore might fall to last place in that division.
