Best way to cook goat brain?

Recommended Posts

I like this restaurant, and we order there about once a month or so. Neither my wife or I are brave enough to eat brain, anyone ever eaten goat brain?

I have eaten chickens foot, cows tongue, etc. I am afraid of chronic wasting disease(Scrapie or mad cow disease in other animals).

Bruh you gotta try it. How often do you get the chance to try something like that where it’s cooked professionally

My fraternity initiation involved eating goat brains; they were fine, tasted like chicken if I recall, but something of a liver texture.  The ones in your link look spicier and tastier than what we ate.  I would totally try it given that experience.

"And monkey's brains, though popular in Cantonese cuisine, are not often to be found in Washington D.C.!"

"Is that what we ate?"

Yea I’d try it. A lot of people would think sweetbreads are gross. But they are delicious and a culinary staple

What kind of filthy animal eats goat?

I eat goat, it is pretty close to beef. Obviously I prefer beef, but that is not an option for Indian food.

This was more about eating the brains.

I have had and made sweetbreads. very good.

brains are not uncommon outside of the US. I have tried it, but wouldn't again...more textural than psychological.

My grandma once served us scrambled eggs with calf brain.  I was 10, and didn’t puke so I guess they were fine.

I'm confused.  Are we to answer the topic question, the question in the post, or both?

I'll go with both - unsure and no.

I could probably vomit if I spend enough time thinking about eating and kind of brain.

As you know, sweetbreads (or pan dulce) are as common down here as regular white bread... This is from one my stops, El Rancho Mercado.

Wait, someone is cooking Worm's tiny brain? Yuck.

I’d like to think I’m a decent poster here but greatest of all time?

That is a compliment I cannot accept :nono:
