Saw it for the first time the other night.  Quality movie, not your typical western.  Check it out.

Yep, pretty brutal at times.

I liked it. There was really only that one brutal scene. 

 

These arent Westerns but if you liked Bone Tomahawk you might also like Cold in July or Blue Ruin.

Blue Ruin was very good. I didn’t like Cold in July as much, felt like a bit of a knockoff, but maybe I’m not being fair to that one

Green Room was worth watching too for a similar kind of violent thriller.

Another one that I think is on Netflix or Prime you might want to check out too is Cheap Thrills. That was awesome trashy fun.

Have you seen 68 Kill? Pretty good trashy/noir type movie on Netflix

Nothing like seeing Jean Luc Picard as a white supremacist.  I also believe it was the last movie for the kid who played Chekov in Star Trek reboots and died in a accident.

Juat watched Bone Tomahawk last night.  Was a bit slow but as my wife said "this movie is kinda bad but I can't stop watching it".  Worth the long wait just to see that one focked up scene.

Made me think of the Left vs Right Twix ad campaign.
