Mixon for Ertz?

Recommended Posts

Mixon and OJ howard have been killing me in one league. 0-2

Looking further into Mixon's situation. His O-line is screwed. I saw a stat that he's getting negative .6 yards before initial contact.

So I've been offered Ertz.

I'd still have Carson, Gurley, Murray and scrubs at RB

K Allen, DJ Moore, C Kirk at WR.

Pull the trigger on Ertz?

Leave link and I'll answer what I can.

I'd take Ertz if you can get him.  The other owner may be fully aware of the Cincy O-Line issues though.  By now, most people are.

You didn't list your current TE, just your WRs, so do you have to start a TE, or would you be starting Ertz as a WR?

I think I'd hang onto Mixon in either case, but if you don't have to start a TE, then Ertz is even less valuable.  You might be benching Mixon in favor of Carson and Gurley for now, but I'd prefer to have a better option than Murray in case Gurley doesn't see the end of the year.

TE required. Line up is QB, 2 RB, 2 WR, Flex TE K DEF. It's a PPR

Current TE are OJ Howard and Burton.

If Howard turns it around I could flex Ertz.

I may be jumping the gun early but we'll see.

Well, then it's risky to lose Mixon, but you'd definitely be upgrading your TE position.

I guess since you're 0-2 and need the help NOW you could go ahead and make the deal, and worry about RB depth later.
