BTW - AB is not going to like being released.  Not at all.  The Pats have made a big big mistake for which they will pay dearly.... Bwahahaha

What's 9 million for these guys.  It's nothing when they can blow 230+ million a year on players.  It's in the budget.

He had a contract clause that said they could cut him and void the contract AND the guarantee if his contract was detrimental to the clubs image. I’m pretty sure this cost them very little.

Exactly.  His contract language was VERY strict.  I can't see anyone else picking him up now.  He's like Ray Rice at this point.  Untouchable.

I own him in one league. Now forced to keep him until we see if he gets picked up by someone.

I am expecting him to sign with the Seahawks

Then he has them over a barrel, because there's no way that the Patriots can prove that ANY conduct whatsoever could possibly be detrimental to their image in a court of law.

Isn't the NFL at-will anyway?  They can cut him for any reason.

Phillip Dorsett worth an add?

He's back to the 3rd option.. and Gordon is never a gimme.. could be the 2nd before you know it.. Even the 3rd option, he has obvious value.  I grabbed him and dumped my flier on Gronk.  That skinny-magee isn't coming back.  lol

He never should have been dropped.

It was impossible for both Brown and Gordon to get through the season without at least one of them imploding in the first place.

I have to believe this means a suspension or commish exempt list announcement is coming.  Because the league LOVES the Pats I'm sure they gave them the option of saving face first.

As for AB, dude is lost.  I can have some sympathy for a guy like Josh Gordon who has an addition issue.  I have ZERO for a guy who is addicted to being a colossal a$$hole, possibly sex offender and all around "me-first" dousch.   I hope he never sees the field again.

I would assume he never plays another NFL snap

That's my current take

Maybe after he gets committed and goes on meds

'Posted August 26

Antonio Brown DND

He’s crossed of my sheet and well below Chris Godwin '

I did my best to give everyone a heads up.  ;)

You know a few people will miss the fantasy playoffs by one game with a week 2 loss to the AB team.

Yeah cause Brady has proven to be dependant on particular WRs for his success in the NFL.
