Drake to Giants?

Recommended Posts

Hmm, wondering if giants pursue him as MIA continues to clean house.

Gallman isn’t a starter and giants may wanna keep the DJ hype train rolling

CJ Anderson's phone ringing?    Figured they would at least bring someone in off the street with some modicum of experience..

Shouldn’t be, he’s a thorough jag

No he's not, he's a Giant.  The Jags have Fournette.

Giants are rebuilding, they won’t trade draft capital for Drake.

Anderson? Yeah that could happen.

Also, I’m not interested in Gallman much. Don’t think he’s that good

I agree.  They are rebuilding and aren't going to give up anything for him.  CJ is a free agent, so he would make sense.  I'm not sure they should bring in anyone though.  They have an awful lot of needs and a why would they want to win more?  A higher draft pick gives them the ability to trade down or pick up someone at another area of need.  Maybe Daniel Jones is so great he doesn't even need a RB?

Conventional wisdom is you take the pressure off your rookie QB by running the ball.

They’ll probably do something, but I doubt it’s a trade

I think Anderson is a good call, he would be a upgrade for Gallman.

Agreed,  I am taking a flier on him for the hell of it.  He just makes sense IMHO.   Solid veteran contributor with experience, nothing really lost aside of some $$...  What the hell.  Even as the SB owner in my league, I have absolutely no interest in Gallman, or any of the other RB drek on the wire..   Just trying to ride out the injury wave and stay in the mix... I don't need to finish first, just get my arse in the playoffs.

CJ is a possibility. One dark horse candidate is Cameron Artis Payne. Getty loves his former panther draft picks. Regardless, whoever it is will be merely depth to start. The Giants like Gallman a lot more than the fantasy community, he's the one you want, if anyone.

I've been very surprised Jay Ajayi's interest has been so low this year. Last I heard he was medically cleared and looked in good shape.
