Hader did not have his best stuff.

But that error by Grisham was the killer.

RF is Yelich’s position btw

America wins when a p.o.s. like Braun is sent home.

Thanks Washington, America is grateful.

I think it’s fair to say he drove in 2, then Grisham’s error gave them the lead.

This loss is mostly on Hader, but that flub in right field was Buckneresque.

Yelich makes that stop 100 times in a row without breaking a sweat.

Yeah.  That gift started the rally.

I mean Hader was all over the place, but another 3-2 count to Taylor could have resulted in a strikeout...

It's tough. Even with Yelich, and assuming he fields it cleanly, it's tied with 1st and 3rd and Howie up.  I don't consider even close to Buckner.

I don’t mean to imply that the error will go down in history like Buckner’s did.  The WS isn’t the same stage as a single elimination wild card game

But it cost them what turned out to be the winning run and that was huge.

It was not a small error given the time in the game.  He was charging hard thinking he might have a shot at home. That is what cost him.

Was replying in a nutshell to the OP. No doubt he did not get credit for 3 rbi’s. 3 runs scored as a result of  his AB.

Why is there a woman announcing this game?

I presume ESPN is being woke with some former softball player?  :dunno:

It's bleeding into sports talk radio too. Nothing is sacred. :dunno:

Just looked her up, Jessica Mendoza, as expected a former softball player.  Seems to have a little weight problem but going with wood, especially when she is thinner:
