vuduchile 1,940 Posted October 8, 2019 After 3 years and a billion dollar commitment to house the homeless, they’ve yet to complete a single building. Also, the projected cost per apartment is over a half a million bucks https://www.yahoo.com/news/los-angeles-homeless-could-apartments-030009946.html
Strike 3,884 Posted October 8, 2019 it's really pathetic. And yet, here is someone with an affordable, quick solution: https://www.nbclosangeles.com/investigations/Los-Angeles-LA-Homeless-Encampments-Sprung-Tents-Shelter-Skid-Row-560063361.html And people wonder why many of us don't trust the government to "solve problems."
sderk 1,040 Posted October 8, 2019 No big deal for California. They just pass the costs onto the tax payers. And the residents will eat it up because that is what liberals ask for. Easy peasy. Next.

It's the fact that they haven't yet taken any homeless off the street with that money, and they're building 500k/unit apartments to house these people because that's the "humane" thing to do.
