Clayton Kershaw gave up two HRs in three batters last night.  If anyone needs reminding how dominant Mariano Rivera was, he gave up two HRs in the postseason as well.....TOTAL.....while facing 527 batters. 

Name the two guys that hit postseason bombs off of Mo.

I was there. I should Fockin remember. If it wasnt Zeile, and we know it's not Piazza I can't remember. Not Ventura , I would remember that. The second baseman, what's his name, Spanish guy, big hitter for a while?

Edgardo Alfonzo.....but not the right answer.

Mets scored 5 in the top of the ninth to make a 6-0 game turn into a 6-5 final. This HR was a three run bomb in the midst of that inning.

I know. If I remember correctly Piazza hit one to dead center that looked like it was going out but it fell short. I'm never going to get it. Long time ago.

MAriano pitched 1 inning and Kerslaw was on his 8th.  

Mariano let up 2 HRs in a game 5 times in his career and he pitched 1 inning.

Hrmm, my brain is struggling..  I think Ricky Henderson was on that team but, i don't remember him on the playoff roster.  There was Bell and Payton also, the answer is probably Jay Payton but, I can't for the life of me remembering it happening. 

Side trivia, a starting QB in the NFL had a daddy on that team...  Too easy but, have at it.

More tired innings = more chances to let up HR

Trying to discredit Rivera is trolling at its worst Ed.  If it was as unimpressive as you think, wouldn't more guys have records like him?

He got Mariano at Fenway in July of 04. Walk off. It was the day of the Varitek- A-Rod "fight". I rooted for Varitek. I was at Fenway that day. The ball got hit right at us in right field. Sheffield just watched it sail. Got our balls busted good. Great time, one of the best days I ever had at a game.
