Trade Curtis Samuel for Gerald Everett?

Non-PPR - I was offered Everett as a trade for either C Samuel or Fitzgerald.  

Waller is my TE and Is on a bye.  I picked up Jared Cook this week and plan on starting Waller for most games.  

Do you think it is worth trading?  I haven’t seen enough from Everett.

I also have Michael Thomas and Golden Tate, who I don’t plan on trading.

Everett is the 2nd TE in Los Angeles.  They used a 2nd round pick on him, then for whatever reason, gave their mostly blocking TE a massive payday just a few weeks ago.  Dumb.  Anyway, Everett is only going to be worth rostering until everyone is healthy.  When all players are healthy, he is a 2 catch guy.  He may still be fine if Cooks doesn't play, but he doesn't have long term potential in this offense and with them just re-signing their other TE to a big deal.  I wouldn't trade for him.  You'd be buying high, which is never, ever, a good thing.

Yeah, send Fitzgerald.  Trading a top 20 WR for a one-week fill-in at TE (who may be worse than the guy you picked up on waivers) is always a good move.

Clear frontrunner for "Most Obvious Answer of the Week," and probably a nominee for the Annual award as well.

Elf’s comments don’t bother me one bit.  It’s still feedback.  Plus, Christmas will be here soon and I’m sure the elf will be much  more merry!  Cheers!
