Flex: Malcolm Brown Or Terry McLaurin

Recommended Posts

Standard Scoring *NON PPR*

Brown: Home vs the Niners

McLaurin:  @  Miami

If the Rams weren't playing the 49ers, (Brutal 4 RB's) Brown would be a slam dunk.

SF vs RB's

4 Games     70 rushing attempts    267 Yds    0 TD    17 Receptions   112 Yds    0 TD's    9.5 Fantasy Pts Allowed Per Game

Mia Vs WR's

4 Games    45 receptions    689 yds    7 TD's    27.9  Fantasy Pts Allowed Per Game

Other considerations:

Looks like Case Keenum is going to start for the Redskins, which would be a plus for Scary Terry IMO.

On the other hand, with the Redskins being a total mess, if they were to fall behind early, they might say WTF & give Haskins a shot.

A negative IMO (too inexperienced)

I’d go with M Brown now too.

Thanks for the replies!

I hate to go against the consensus here (2 of 3 suggested McLaurin) & I'll probably regret it, but when I saw the words 'featured back' I decided to go with Brown.

It's not like we didn't know that already, as soon as Gurley was ruled out.

The plot thickens.

Dolphins CB Xavien Howard (knee) is inactive for Week 6 against the Redskins.
Howard practiced on a limited basis all week but didn't do enough to get cleared. It's a huge upgrade to Terry McLaurin's matchup. Eric Rowe will fill in as Miami's No. 1 corner.

I would pick McLaurin.

Too much upside to this pick.
Brown has a tough matchup. Probably the safer play but lower ceiling.
