 Reminder that concussions are binary. You're either back or you're not. No reason to expect him to be "limited" or slowly worked back in.

Now, there's still the issue of Goff's play recently. And the Rams OL. And the tough match-up with the Ravens. And Cooks' underwhelming performance when healthy this year ...

Although there is no level of incompetence from the NFL that would really shock me, I seriously doubt they are rushing Cooks back before he is ready. Within the heat of a game, I could believe that a concussed player slips through the cracks. But Cooks has been out multiple weeks, during which he has gone to see a specialist and everyone seems highly cognizant of the long-term risks he is facing. Occam's Razor says that if he's returning to the lineup, it's because he's asymptomatic.

I'm using a waiver priority on him. Because of byes I literally don't have a third WR to start this week, and the best option after him is James Washington. Plus if he stays healthy there is some upside.

Brandin Cooks, who suffered two concussions in a 25-day span, cleared the concussion protocol Thursday and is expected to return to the field Monday night against the Baltimore Ravens.

I still haven’t seen him play yet, this isn’t monday Toto.

I hope he doesn’t take another head shot.

Definitely seemed like it was more a function of that offense than anything else, although even in garbage time, there was lots of short stuff to Kupp, Woods and Higbee and not many shots downfield.

In one league, I only used him this week as a bye-week fill-in and now he's back to my bench. But in another, I may give him one more shot against Arizona (alternatives are Jeffrey, CSamuel and Washington)
