FantasyRetard 49 Posted October 29, 2019 Really surprised by that. Fells is tied with the league lead for TD's to TE's at 5. He's a legitimate end zone target for Watson. Anyone agree with this?
Showboat 142 Posted October 29, 2019 Hard to say - maybe he has scored his 5 TDs for the season and it's back to normal. Gotta think Nuk's TD total for the second half will increase.....
weepaws 2,418 Posted October 29, 2019 That’s the truth , we might have seen his best. I own him but I’m always shopping.
FantasyRetard 49 Posted October 29, 2019 Deshaun Watson has attempted 38 pass attempts in the Red Zone this year. Fells and Hopkins are tied with 8 targets each. With half the season to remain, there's no reason to think that pace will not continue. The only negative matchup Houston has for TE's is Week 13 vs. the Patriots. I would think Fells would be pushing Tier 2 level, at least. He's top 10 in scoring for TE's this year.
weepaws 2,418 Posted October 30, 2019 Unless that pace doesn’t keep up. Now speaking non ppr, if you look at his game avg, he’s barely top ten. Before this past weekend, he had two awfull games right after his last two td game. Unless he scores a td a game, his value based on his avg isn’t all that great. But I do own him also, so I’m hoping he keeps getting lucky and keeps getting those tds.
FantasyRetard 49 Posted October 30, 2019 I admit, he is TD dependent, even in PPR format. Still, he does have 5 TD's so far this season. With his size, he should continue to be a favorite target for Watson.
