Stephen A and Kellerman sure had it out this morning on First Take.  I did see an unconfirmed report that AB was in Philadelphia yesterday for a tryout (along with some others including MIchael Crabtree).  Thoughts?

Okay, found this. Any team would be crazy to sign him until the investigation is complete.

Brown is technically a free agent and can be signed by any team. But on Sept. 20 the league issued a statement saying he could be placed on the commissioner’s exempt list if picked up during the investigation, which would mean he would have to be paid despite not being eligible to play. A player on the exempt list is not allowed to practice or attend games, but he is allowed to be present at facilities for meetings, to work out, and to receive treatment.

Any team can sign him, but since the investigation has yet to be completed, the team would risk having him put on the exemption list.  Perhaps he'll meet with them and the investigation will be completed.  I doubt he's suspended.
